Hello. I created a Vtuber and everything else manages to work correctly with the eyes and body but the eyes dont seem to be moving through the X and Y parameter.

I tried adjusting the parameters in Vtube Studio, but no matter what the eyes dont really seem to move much at all. But I thought maybe its because I just don't understand how the parameters work.

Could someone help explain it to me? or at least help me figure out why my eyeballs wont move left and right correctly.

@high sun Can you please post a screenshot of how you set up the eye parameters in VTube Studio?

Its doesnt move at all when the head turns left and right

The parameter goes from 1 to -1 but you're capping it at between 1 and 0.

#

Might wanna set this to -1 instead and also uncheck the "limit range".

#

Same for the ParamEyeBallX.

now eyes are permenantly looking to the left

Do the same for the inputs.

oh! okay got it.

Did you set this up yourself? The parameter mappings seem a bit messed up.

high sun

Yeah I did.

You might just want to run auto-setup.

junior crystal
# high sun Yeah I did.

The eye X/Y tracking parameters range from 1 to -1, so that should be what you set on the IN side.

what about for when the head turns to the left and right? the eyeballs dont seem to move at all

junior crystal
#

Not sure what you mean by that.

#

The eye-tracking becomes less accurate when your head is rotated far to the right/left in general.

#

But it should still work to a certain degree.

#

With iOS/NVIDIA tracking, it works much better. Which tracker are you using?

high sun
#

oh I see okay. I'm using a webcam.

#

is nvidia tracking something different? i dont have ios

It's webcam-tracking as well but requires an RTX GPU:
