#AI generated texts are not saved

I've just used AI to generate a roadmap. When I clicked into a topic, it also generated detailed text automatically. But then either using "Edit in Editor" or "Save and Start Learning", the texts were gone. How can I save those AI generated texts without copy/paste one by one?

Hey NightWatch!

#

What you're experiencing is intentional atm!

I know it's not ideal for you but if you imagine 850k people create AI roadmaps with 100 nodes and fill them all with content...thats one expensive API call! sweating

We have plans to plans to add auto-generation of content in the editor section though which will be done from the users Open-AI API key!

Hey @rustic lily ! Thank you for your reply. In my use case, I've already put my OpenAPI key, assuming that the generated texts are counted toward my quota.

And appreciate the GIF, too 😄

Ok so heres the lowdown:

  • Yes it will count as your quota, so make sure you either don't generate content and/or if you do, make sure that you copy it 😅

  • If you copy the link that has roadmap.sh/ai/your-roadmap-name you can use this to always get back to the page where you can generate content, so make sure you save that!

These are workarounds but because we are focussing on the draw.roadmap.sh capability this will be improved on and the ability to save generated content will exist for those who use their own key!

Okay, I get it.

I’m new here. As today, I just discovered how cool roadmap.sh is. Previously, I thought roadmaps were read-only, not knowing that I could mark progress or even create custom ones using AI. You guys are doing great work.

Btw, Is there any option to have more than 10 custom roadmaps?
