  1. Sounds dependent on the type of gun instead of just 20mm, 25mm, 27mm, & 30mm. (Tornado's gun sounds really good.)

Ship Attack & Bomber Escort and their respective planes should have multiple areas where the bullets come out from. (P-51 and the JU-87 I think.)

I think for planes with the GAU guns, there should be a winding down/drop in pitch when the gun stops firing.

  1. Smoke Effects

Minor smoke effects behind the aircraft as well as smoke effects when the guns shoot on the modern jets, similar to the A-10. It looks awkward in my opinion when there's no smoke effect when the guns are firing

Some of the guns are Auto-cannons instead of Rotary-weapons. They also have different sounds.

  1. Fire Rate and Damage

Damage and fire rate should depend on the gun itself. We should have an increased set amount of ammo and have maybe a ten - fifteen second reload rate after the ammo is spent.

For balancing purposes, it might want to be considered that, if this becomes a thing, that ammo count is set depending on the Damage and Fire rate.
High Ammo : High Fire Rate & Low Damage

3.5: Bullet Velocity depending on Gun
Low Ammo: High/Medium Fire Rate and High Damage

4: Gun Placement

For aircraft that have an offset gun or two guns (or more for the Prop Planes and if we get Gun Pods), those should be placed correctly instead of coming off of the nose. After looking into it, I actually haven't noticed anything too off besides the prop fighters.

6: Map Building.

There should be preset maps and missions set independently from user created missions.

On top of messing with buildings and opponents, terrain editors should be implemented. (Ability to make Canyons and what-not after height control are added.)

All of that would be good for maps that players create, then can be downloaded from a tab designated to download other players' created missions.

On top of mission editing, make it available so that difficulty can be adjusted for more intense missions. Invading a Military base against SAMs and Defending aircraft on Hard or Insane would be fun.

8: Active Warfare
I'm aware it's being worked on, but having active battles happening on top of trying to get to bases, ground striking, and avoiding aircraft & SAMs.

This could include low poly soldiers that are friendly or enemy that can all be attacked. Depending on your actions can sway the battle

9: SAM/AA Mode

Mode based on being able to control either a SAM site that uses the same radar as BVR does, or as a gun AA, which could be a variety. (This is a JET attack move so I dunno if you'd implement ground units.)

10: Base Defense

This would be based on the scenery building. A sub-mode where you start with limited resources to build a base to survive incoming attacks.
A possible big thing to add would be a tycoon-sort-of mechanic where you develop planes as time goes on and unlock stuff.

This could even be the main basis for the Missions mode.

Base Defense / the General Mission Mode should include realistic ideas, such as take off, refuelling, limited ammo, and realistic damage, which can be and is not limited to, wing damage, flap damage, tail damage, engine damage, gun damage, etc.

American AA systems carry Stingers, depending on the model.

Helicopters and stuff are a different subject. I don't think Doolwind is too focused on helicopters rn

It im not wrong there's a LAV that uses 4x stingers launcher, an M61 Vulcan cannon and maybe even tow missiles so yeah, some AA carry stingers

Either have art/pictures of your models or art of a single plane, two planes or swords clashing, mission editors can be designed with bases or a pencil and some other stuff.

As for whatever else, I'll leave that to you lol

Multiplayer doesn't need to be made PvP only now that I'm thinking about it.

There could be CO-OP modes and what not. Even a multiplayer Base Defense, which I think would be awesome.

Missiles should be reworked to have a cone in front of the plane as well as a realistically limited range, including Rear-aspect and All-aspect tracking.

The radar example should be implemented instead of enemies popping up on a 360 Radar for every plane. Classification should take a moment to actually load, and the same thing for launched missiles.

I recommend putting both the Enemy and Enemy Missiles on Radar, as the Bubbles, imo, make it look a little weird.

I also recommend for the Radar, if the bubbles are turned off, that a directional RWR will go off that identifies the missile and pings the distance every 0.7 - 1.1 second(s), as well as the aircraft.

The range of the radar should be adjustable, similar to the zoom on Strategic Bomber.

I think the zoom is completely fine in my opinion. It's nice and does what it needs to.

Manual radar tracking would be a small section of the screen, like how the Strategic Bombing screen works.
However, for this, small would be the visual, and making it bigger gives controls over what the radar is doing

And honestly, this would be a big game changer, but changing the angle of which the third person camera is viewing the aircraft could be lowered so more of what's in front of the user's aircraft can be seen. This would work well for short range fights and short range missiles.

RWR won't warn the pilot about missiles if the missile Is in an RWR blind spot

for example if It Is coming right underneath the jet the RWR won't warn us about It (this Is also perfect if height controls will come in the future)
