What is the Player Council you may ask? 🤔

The F1 Clash Player Council is a voluntary group of Players from across the varied player base who are chosen to provide direct feedback, opinions and discussions with the F1 Clash team. Members of the Player Council are carefully chosen to represent all Players without bias as well as have all Players in mind when discussing potential future features or changes in game.

Successful applicants will be required to sign Non-Disclosure Agreements so must be of legal age and ability to complete this process.

Applications can be made through the below form. The team will then review these in the coming weeks and contact potential successful applicants directly.

The Bug Tracker channel is intended to provide some visibility to Players on technical bugs within F1 Clash as well as an approximate status on their progress.

Players will also be able to upvote bug posts to allow the team to more understand the potential impact & prioritise appropriately where needed.

In our continuous efforts to improve the experience on Discord, introduce new features and make information and conversations easier to find; we will be making a number of changes to Discord channels from the 9th of October.

The main change will be replacing several existing text channels with new Forum style channels (see #1125740437819379742 for an example of this).

This will allow us to combine multiple channels into one place, reducing the amount of channels to search for necessary details and introducing better filtering options. We will also be adding some pre-defined Tags to these channels which you can add to your posts to allow others to filter and search the conversations they want to see more easily.

The current plan for these changes can be found below:

• New Help and Advice Forum Channel
  This will replace the #💡│help-and-support , #series-1-and-2 , #series-3-and-4 , #series-5-and-6 , #series-7-and-8 , #series-9-and-10 and #series-11-and-12 channels.

• New Events Forum Channel
  This will replace #🏆│gp-and-events , #🗳│player-survey , #📅│event-calendar & #🎁│contests-and-giveaways channels.

• New Clubs Forum Channel
  This will combine #💬│clubs-discussion and #🤝│clubs-recruitment

• New Game Suggestions Forum Channel
  This will replace #🎮│game-suggestions

• Removing both Team Radio channels

Channels not mentioned above will remain unchanged. Those channels being replaced will be changed to Read-Only and available under an archive category so that no previous conversations and comments are lost.

We realise there will be an adjustment period to the new style of channels. With the correct use of tags and functionality we hope this brings a better experience to Discord.

A little update about some changes happening in this Discord server as a trial.

Due to the increased frequency of Discord accounts being hijacked and posting spam or scams across multiple channels, some permission changes are being made to try and combat this problem.

Accounts that are genuinely active in this server, by posting messages in any channel, within a 30 day period will automatically receive permissions to post images or external links.

If an account becomes inactive for more than 30 days, these permissions will automatically be removed. The account will still be able to post messages, as normal, just not include images or links.

Please note that all you have to do to start the bug reporting process is type '!bugbot', no other text is needed in the initial post you make.

Hi all, just wanted to give you a quick update on our plans regarding F1 Manager livestreams for the immediate future.

We had previously made a comment here in the Discord server that we were hoping to reschedule our first F1 Manager livestream for sometime during the week commencing 16th March. However, due to the recent global Covid-19 outbreak Hutch has made the decision to recommend that where possible employees work from home until the situation is under control. As a result, we will unfortunately be putting our F1 Manager livestreaming plans on hold until the situation changes, but we'll make sure to keep you all updated when we have more news about our first livestream.

Hey @everyone ! Just wanted to give you all a heads-up that for those of you who are more creatively minded we've just kicked off a brand new contest which I hope many of you will want to get involved with! Basically we're asking you to create your own custom F1 Manager Driver Cards 😁

We've created some blank driver card templates for common, rare and epic tiers of driver cards and what we want you to do is to fill in the blanks with an image that you feel best represents yourself, along with a name/username. Maybe some of you with F1 related attire at home may even fancy a bit of dress-up for your entry? 😋

We'll be judging all the entries based mainly on creativity and effort and to make sure the best entries are suitably rewarded we have three amazing prize packs consisting of 1,250 bucks, 45 Instinct boosts, and a legendary crate up for grabs which should provide our winners with a great boost prior to the new 2020 season kicking off in mid-May.

To celebrate the start of the F1 Manager 2020 Season, we're very excited to announce that we'll be hosting a Discord Launch Party in the server next Monday starting at 11am UK time and continuing throughout the day. This 11am start time will also roughly coincide with the game going offline for players whilst we roll out the update and get everything ready behind the scenes for the new season.

Joining the festivities here in the server will be some of our F1 Manager dev team who are looking forward to talking to all of you about the 2020 update and F1 Manager in general, plus we'll also be running plenty of giveaways with some great prizes up for grabs to give some lucky winners a nice head start when putting together their 2020 team!

The eagle-eyed among you might have noticed that we've very recently added a new #🗳│player-survey text channel to the Discord and I just wanted to make a quick announcement to let you know what that's all about!

We're going to be posting regular short and snappy polls in that channel just to get a quick finger on the pulse indication on how the Discord community currently feels about F1 Manager and if at that moment in time you are enjoying your experiences with the game. Sadly I am stepping down as a moderator since I am no longer playing the game and I no longer have the time to moderate this discord server due to other responsibilities. I will stay in the community for a couple more days and after that I will also leave the Discord server as well. Results are now in for the 2nd Semi-Final in our "Top Moustache in F1 History" tournament and despite losing the Twitter vote by a decent margin and the Facebook vote by a single vote, stronger polling for Valtteri Bottas on Discord/Instagram saw him take the win!

He'll now face off against Sebastien Vettel in our grand final next week.

I'm very happy to announce that @bleak lily will be joining us on the moderation team for the F1 Manager Discord Server. As one of our more regular posters here on the server I'm sure the name will be familiar to many of you and I'm confident he'll be a great addition to the team!
