Rb and Ferrari got illegal floor when it’s being used because it flex more than it should (2mm). It was a loophole within the rules. Because what RB and Ferrari did was to cut the plank In pieces making the car go 2-3 tenths faster. It says nothing about this on the rules. Only that it must flex 2mm max. FIA use holes on the plank to measure this. But when the car is running they found out it flexes way more than that 2mm. So it’s Legal within the rules because it’s a loophole. But while using it, it becomes illegal.

Binotto confirmed 3 days ago they will need to changed their floor in Spa.
