So I've just caught up on the race so haven't seen what's been written here but my summary is: Ferrari have a car capable of winning the title, Ferrari have a driver capable of winning the title. Ferrari DONT have a strategy team capable of winning the title. That could well be the difference this year.

I don't blame Ferrari strategy I blame sainz Ferrari called him in for a set of inters he refused and wanted to wait till slicks but if he had just listened to the team Charles would have never got stuck/stacked behind him and would have came out of the pits with the lead or in second. I know sainz wants to win and I want him to win too but he does have to understand he's the number two driver and he hurt his team's results yesterday by not playing the second driver roll he should have been out on track on intermediate trying to slow down the Bulls while lec went to pit for slicks

I would also argue that Mercedes had really decent race pace in Monaco but Pace does you no good on a track that you can't pass.

Even with the Sainz issue, Ferrari could have ignored him and helped Leclerc out. As soon as they saw the pace Perez was going pit Leclerc or at least cover off Max. They didn't have to screw over both drivers.

Sainz is not to blame, he was smart to stay out. If latifi hadn't impeded in his out lap he would've been first. Ferrari messed up because they wanted both to box for inters when Sainz was right and they could've afforded both drivers to stay out longer, extend the lead then switch to slicks

They were too reactionary to what RB was doing when they could've just stuck with a wiser strategy, they had the 1-2 in their hands but were incompetent and ruined the day for their drivers and themselves
