I think the concept of there being more days worth watching is working. Now we already had a Q and a mini race, and still there is the actual race left. So more fun to watch than just practices and a Q before the races.

In what way does it "remove any strategy from the weekend"? We literally have the whole race left and the only difference in strategy before that normally is if Merc or RB will go on mediums in Q2 since they are the only ones who can be assured to get to Q3 on them, and then gaining even more advantage in the race despite already being superior.

The purpose of this is that it gives us another mini race instead of a 3rd practice. No matter how boring today was, it was still ALOT more fun than an FP3.

that was because Ham took the finale step to a colission and in the rule book you get penalty for collision. Both went out here so there was no need for penalty.

After watching the replays. Looks like a racing incident. There was a gap for Max and he went for it. But if Max really wants this championship he needs to learn to pick his battles. Will be interesting to see the stewards decision and reasoning for the decision.

Max has gotten better over the years. But now that he’s fighting for a title I think he may go back to how he was a few years back. And that mindset may cause him a world championship. Lewis is really good at keeping the car stable after contact. That’s why he is considered one of the greats.
