After the one race Ham was out due to covid and Rus got the pole and dominated the majority of the race until the puncture happened, I was convinced that it's not the driver (Ham), it's the car (Mercedes).

You could say that Mercedes would have an easy transition bringing Russell in, given the fact that the car was set up for Hamilton, and Russellās limited seat time in a Merc proved an excellent combination outta the box. Given Bottasās extensive seat time in comparison, Russell did very well. Iād have to go 70% car, 30% driver in the case of Mercedes. Put Russell in a Racing Point, do you think he would have done as well as Checo?

It is really their only option.
Honda is arguably the best engine manufacturer in the world. Honda makes more engines than all other engine manufacturers combined. They have had great success in the past in multiple racing formats.
If the technology gets passed down the way it needs to, I think Red Bull is in a good spot. They have the cash for it, they just need to ensure they acquire the proper resources and talent to move it forward.

I agree Latifi is underrated, given he was a rookie last year I don't think it was a terrible season all things considered
I think it's less about the drivers at Haas and more the car, it's just not good enough and both Mick and Nikita are gonna need a lot to get into a points scoring position

Alpine and Aston Martin look so good. The Alfa R as well. Also like the look of McLaren even tho they didn't change much and wish they went back to a livery more like in the Senna days with white and orange.
When I think about it all cars look great imo š Except Williams if they don't make some changes this season. That car looks like it's supposed to be the worst and poorest to me. Also hope Ferrari's will look better this season. Last one was their worst in modern times.

Yeah the Jeddah circuit looks interesting, ppl hate Tilke designs because they're v samey but they're isn't much similar outside of the sorta buddh-esque section between T6 and T10
Hopefully the track isn't as narrow as the simulations had it, and Im v sure that this would be a track that'll benefit a lot from the downforce changes between last year and this year

Am I the only F1 fan who finds Drive to Survive really dull? I know whatās going to happen because I watched it all a year ago! Itās hardly a surprise or even of interest that... shock horror... the Australian GP gets cancelled. I also find it all rather try hard. Thereās the odd interesting moment behind the scenes, but everyone involved is well versed enough in PR to know not to genuinely let their guard down in front of the cameras.
