Tough to say 😀 Max is being max and is driving the car in a different way compared to the others (more aggressive downshifting for energy regeneration) - Red Bull seemed pretty solid apart from an issue on the second day but they quickly fixed it.

Merc - solid also but had an engine issue.

Ferrari - decently fast and reliable

McLaren - just weird.

Aston - well. 4 sec slower than the top 😀😀

The best era, and the most beautiful for me, was 2017-2021. The cars were simple, they didn't look heavy, they were fast, and they found a middle ground in the design so that they looked very good. Honda never said they did not want Alonso to be a champion. The issue here is, back in 2021 after Verstappen won, they announced their decision to withdraw from F1. As such, many Honda engineers went to Red Bull's new Powertrain company, so essientially all of Honda's brain went to Red Bull, together with Mercedes staff. However, it was in 2023 or so when they announced their return from 2026 due to F1's sustainable fuels engine, and they partnered with Aston since RBPT was already deep into work with DM01. Now, Honda have set up their HRC shop at Milton Keynes, to try to bring back those who went to Red Bull. Even their Technical Director who oversaw the 2021 engine left to help Red Bull. So now, 2026 is essientially a white paper for them, another clean organisation with no process and stuff, so they also need to set it up like what Red Bull did building RBPT, now the question is can they return to their winning ways before like 2018-2021, especially with new talent as they continue recruitment for more staff to help with the Aston project.

There’s also another fantasy game that was introduced last years where you make choices on 10 questions every GP… it’s called Predictions
