I felt that the penalty was really questionable as lando was ahead going into braking, but not ahead at the apex. However, the rules state that whoever is ahead at the apex is the one who should get the position (which is a stupid rule honestly, removes hard racing). But again, even max himself ran wide and went off track, which shows that he outbroke himself and lando is trying to take evasive action. George Russell got a penalty for that earlier in the race vs Bottas in a similar situation. However, McLaren should know better and give Max back the place, knowing Lando will definitely be able to overtake Max later. Both FIA and McLaren made questionable decisions today, no doubt about that.
