Out of those three, I think Pérez. Ricciardo will have to perform much more better with the car in the rest of the season (assuming he's staying at RB) so that he gets considered by the heads of RBR to think of replacing Pérez. He has to do it really bad to RedBull get to that point, I think. 2026 will be interesting to see, though, I think Pérez will do good too in a new car.

This is last years standings. Look how far apart Stroll is from his teammate compared to the rest of the top 4 teams. Piastri is understandable to be lower because he was a rookie but the Aston Martin was clear 2nd strongest first half of the season and Stroll couldn’t even get podium. Stroll is just not at par with Alonso. Do we expect him to beat him? No but to at least compete, yes and he’s not. Somebody else’s deserves the AM seat and the reality is if his dad didn’t own the team, Stroll would’ve been gone as he cost them P4 and possibly beating Ferrari last season.

Boring? One of the best sprint races I’ve ever seen. It had it all. Max maxing, Checo double overtake. Alonso racing amazing until his car fails on him, Hamilton solid p2. Charles complaining after the race about Carlos battling him and lastly, Noris choking.

It might not have been the best sprint race but it was still better than any practice session. The battle was fantastic.

The cars are too heavy, too long, too wide, too sensitive to wind and temperature. The cars are definitely getting closer on single lap pace but in a race not soo much. Just for it all to change soon anyway and create the same issues all over again 😂

I don't know how many 'unforced errors'? he's already had, but not being able to rightly follow the car in front is one. Just watched the race summary a moment ago, and got this screenshot.
Alonso, and the rest of the all 4 drivers managed to get away from that moment without any trouble, it was just a normal thing to happen in a Safety Car slowed running. From the 5 drivers in a row, Lance had the most time to react, and even had more distance between him and the one in front, Ricciardo. The other 4 were much more close to each other, and they still made it! without any issue. 😳😳

But the thing is, being at the position where he is, I think you have to expect to get that criticism if you don't perform as expected . \ Sargeant is not yet (?) at that point since the Williams' car itself is not even being able to perform with Albon.
Same criticism that Ricciardo is still receiving, for being at that RB seat, for example.

I personally don't expect - nor even try to pretend for Stroll to perform exceptionally well (maybe, though that's just wishful thingking from my side .\ ) but I least I expect him, as said previously to the GP, to do a consistent and solid job. This is, at least drive it error-less (or the most error less possible) and whenever made one, take the responsibility for it. I think that's fair to ask for him, and, in my opinion, wouldn't have received that harsh response from the public in this case.

Makes sense to award points for all positions. Only zeroes for unreliability and crashes and such. That way, there is a clear pecking order. If Hulkenberg scores P12 continuously in 5 races and Tsunoda scores a P11 in one race and both their teams were at 0 points, then RB would be placed above Haas currently, which is not fair.

Which is a very valid concern. If you’ve got a couple cars going into the garage for repairs, to return 10+ laps down and then a safety car comes out, how many wave arounds would be needed etc?

I altered the current season points to the proposed points system below. It doesn’t make it drastically different but it definitely makes it more interesting

Yup. That's a real concern. And that can't be sorted out by limiting the point just based on timed rules (10X%? per lap) or no. of laps down... Difficult to say that a right rule/regulations can be set to limit those cars going back into the race... 🤔🤔 since it is a GP race (not an endurance serie) amongst other race safety/integrity considerations...

I agree with that impression, though perhaps how currently RedBull -and quite most other teams too, if not every team- is set, there's a clear 'race as a team spirit', and in RBR in particular, a clear n.1 and n.2 driver. So, in that sense that counts into consideration too. The years really Hamilton struggled for not having a top 3 car, I recall perhaps first half of 2013, and due to challenge from teammate, the 2016? (that Barcelona tangle) and the year Nico won the title (can't recall now which one was). Bottas, although he took the challenge to some extent after taking the place of Rosberg, it really didn't get that edge to really push Hamilton to struggle hard, as Rosberg did, regularly, and except for some short period of times... Max, in comparison, I really struggle to see when he had the same status inside the team against the teammate, after the year they both Ricciardo and him clashed at Sochi? was? (or was it Baku?) and the part off of Ricciardo. No one has challenged him -and will never let that happen, unless it is a 'young talent'(from RedBull junior or not) coming for a generational change-... sadly.

It will be almost impossible to see 2 top drivers in their respective prime / peak performances (age trim included) fighting in a same F1 Team... Maybe in the future, and taking the example of the FIM Bikes Championship Liberty own now, this status quo could change (who knows?) and may see an intra team battle of young talents in a top team... The one I recall the most, in my case, Kimi, Montoya, and Montoya, Ralph... as an example, back in the day...

Hammy is great... but what I admire max is his not only great at real racing, he is etremely good at sim racing in the same time, actually he had beat so many pro sim drivers... Which proved that he can adopts any types of racing without any big issues which is very impressive! And Hamilton never prove his talent outside of F1 field. But one thing I don't like is max temper, he sometime being too aggressive, when he bumping or crashing into other cars, he rather blaming on others than himself. Max from last years is a lot calmer and more composed than his early years. Right now he is quite cautious at times, knows he can dominate and waits a for a better opportunity to overtake with less risks.

Perhaps talent wise, and skill set (?) they're quite similar, although they're now in two different ages and carrer moments, and that may give both drivers an edge over the other in different situations... It'll be very interesting to see if Ferrari car in 2025 helps Hamilton getting out of his struggle, and show again that genius without being that fragile... that could be a good thing for him and for the '26 season... In any case, and as it currently is, I see it is still Max the one to beat, though I'm not really sure if he's still that good at wheel to wheel racing, and overall racecraft, until he's challenged close & hard regularly by more than a driver at a time at every race... At first I understood he was staying at RedBull Company (not RBRacing, which is the F1 team we all know) after Q1 of 2025, until the total completion of RB 17. But that was as it was read at the first brief headline at F1.com, with the release of his statement.

Now in that RedBull's official statement, I see he's really leaving the whole RedBull Technologies Group, with whom he has his working commitments. 👌🏻👆🏻

I'm with Deus here, it's just meh... 🙁 Can't see any 'special' thing there, rather than a new livery in accordance to fit their new partner . \ I really expected -at least for the Miami, and other US venues, if successful amongst followers??- a really special livery...
