🤔 To be fair, in the Schumacher-Barrichello / Massa Ferrari era, mm regards driver's championship, there were years were Michel almost didn't have a big opposition towards achieving his title, and that was, after the years where he fought with Hakkinen, for e.g.... yep the battle for the wdc was almost inexistent, since it was quite clear, that Barrichello, neither Felipe, was never going to impede Schumacher getting any win deliberately (it was the other way round, obviously). So 🤔 maybe yes, when there's that much difference -or very clear team orders/driver assignments, when there are clearly pushing for the wdc with one driver- the battle for that championship looses a bit of interest...
Rosberg-Hamilton battle was quite interesting, though, despite being an all-Mercedes battle too (and 3-4th place taken by another Mercedes run cars too)... So yes. In that sense it may look quite similar to the Schumacher era... and some Hamilton's Mercedes' title seasons...

Saw now that Williams are said to be seriously considering Mick to replace Sargeant. Issue with Sargeant is that all his crashes are forcing Williams to skip crucial development of the car due to the cost cap. Mick had to leave Haas due to crashing too much as well. So makes little sense to me..

I once said that the Singapore track seem bit more bumpy on that race weekend on qualifying session. I heard somewhere that RB ha confirmed that those bumps ruin their underfloor airflow after the weekend. Given Suzuka is a classic track, smooth and less bump, not a surprise they being on top as usual.
