I just can't see any football club directly influencing on the decisions the referee makes in the field, in the course of the match. They all accept (or at least respect) the judgements the refereeing body gives while they're playing. A faul is a faul, and no-one dares to change what's been decided on the field....

It's not possible to say, it's slightly strange redbull are showing there hand this much. You invite the governing body to slow you down by winning by such clear margins. Mercedes managed their performance to good effect until 2021 where they slightly miscalculated, but all the 'oh my tires are dead' is part of keeping the illusion there is competition. It's also in the medias interest to tell you it's closer than it is.

Been a few times now that Gasly just drifts to the side after a start like he doesn't expect anyone to be there. His fault 100%.

Other incident was Sainz fault as well, but since Alonso didn't get any damage and the start was reset, I think a penalty was harsh.

I wish the consequences of incidents were taken into account more often in what penalties are awarded. Not only for Sainz yesterday but also Hamilton for example almost winning the title 2021 by him and Bottas taking out Max in 2 races and only getting 5-10s penalties.

Totally agree. It's kinda pattern in f1. The ones that have things to lose rant a lot, while the other guys has nothing to lose, purposely or by accident, usually makes mistakes around the other guy. It just keep happening...

( One day will Max understand that fighting - or racing for a position- does not necessarily mean not knowing how to sometimes seize (just lift off a bit) and build a better traction & drive onto the next corners & sections... and getting the enough experience for acknowledging & deciding that in less than a fraction of a second... 😕🤦 It's not just all about avoiding at any cost being passed, or necessarily fighting for not loosing a position in every situation...
Russell's 3rd move was quite risky, 1st & 2nd left corners were fair & square, but just at the second turn, he was better leaving Russell go, not fighting him into the corner entry, and don't force oneself into that situation, outside, in a worse position, with less grip, and just beside the wall... with all the risks that that means.

Close racing or racing skills is just not simply not conceding a position... Whenever he fully understands this edge, he will be a better driver... . \

When you’re a champion imo you do what’s correct for you to win. Even if it’s morally wrong or right. I think this is what lacks from drivers who is not champion worthy. So for me Verstappen behaving like that yeh ok. But just a reminder that he can’t always get what he wants and he knows it. Yeye he got his position at the end anyway.

He would have passed irrespective of the SC, but Max would have been aggressive afterwards.
