There's a lot that goes into launching a completely new team, what is likely is that Audi will enter as partners, and gradually get their understanding of the workings of F1 up to standard, and then either buy out an existing team, or Enter as a fresh face, I think the former is more likely than the latter.

Audi has a different idea - they are going to gradually take over Alfa Romeo until they enter in 2026. But they also want to have another team as well.

As far as Cadillac / Andretti - they will face A LOT of opposition

I do believe that people (myself included) have high expectations in regards to new liveries. But in the grand scheme of things, the teams are brands, and the Ferrari’s, Aston Martin and even Red Bull’s of the world will stick to the essence of their brands. Always nice to see new looks, and Mercedes (going back to black) and Alfa did a great job, nonetheless, as a Aston Martin fan, I think I would’ve actually been disappointed if they would of gone away from the green. And say what you want about Red Bull copy pasting the same livery for the past several years, one day they will be remembered for that, just like the white and red McLaren Malboro cars.

I doubt it means anything - for example last year I believe Haas had a “glory” run with softest tyres in the end of one of the sessions just to top the times - this year Zhou did that also.

Even with a .6s improvement of Merc over RB they are still slower by the looks of it. Which is worrying by itself. And it appears also that Ferrari while looking fast and reliable have a tyre deg issue and will be behind RB in race pace

Depends on resources, effort etc. I know Aston and Alfa are trying to move forward to become a force. This year expect to see then more as the best of the rest. Alpine sadly don't appear to have the resources to move forward so expect them to be near the back this year

I saw the statement. I do agree with him tho.
F1 is alot faster and alot more impact so they will be needing tyre blankets. Especially in circuits like Jeddah and Baku where the tyres
absolutely need to be there.
So yeah he got a point.

But my take on this is that, F1 is pinnacle of motorsport, its always
talked about that the best of the best drivers are there,
best car, everything is faster, technology is better.
So for me this should not come as a struggle but a challenge for them.

People are overreacting on first GP imo. Yea RB got the edge here. Yes we can see 3 teams fighting for second. But the point is. The season is long? Mercedes is actually fast, and if their sidepod upgrade turns out to be great it can turn to 2 way fight. Aston Martin is not far behind either, perhaps small adjustment. Ferrari is there but struggles some where. So this season is promising 🙂

I think people see how last season went with RB running away, see that they've got quicker and therefore = they're going to dominate. Obviously we're all hoping they don't but that's how it looks atm, especially with the form Max is in.

The interesting battle for me today will be Alonso v Lewis. If their cars are relatively closely matched that will be some fight
