I agree, but based on how i know them so far, they would say "But you get the victory and rewards" . They will again base it on the bla bla that it's an all age appropriate family intended game and that even children can play thus opening up to such experiences. I know it's annoying, especially during Sprints, but unfortunately Hutch is a Corpo and Corpo's do Corpo shtuff. They are not impacted in any way by such actions, on the contrary, frustrated players tend to get their card out faster. So i guess, it is what it is. Unless can "prove" that wet tyres on dry track can cause a glitch where they "go faster". Then that would be cheating :))

Yeah i can sometimes beat someone if they use instinct boost or self control but any boosts more powerful than that are almost impossible, opponent is 15 pts ahead of me after lap 1...I dont see anything I can do better.

You can say that I should use boosts as well and maybe on sprint days you are right. I figure that people will use boosts less often when its not sprint days. I have hardly played last few years so I have limited premium boosts that I prefer to save for GP.

There are lot of things what can be done wrong. You maybe run too fast into higher series, using wrong drivers, using wrong setup, dont know when to push car, when to conserve, what pit strategy use.. . Yes boosts helping a lot, but with good knowledge and good setups, you can beat "stronger" rivals

Yes, but it's also not like you can delay your progress in another series. You win, you get flags, you get promoted. Most of the tasks (Sprints especially), have you participate in your highest series. And while i totally agree that with good knowledge, strategy and good setups you can beat "stronger" rivals even when they have boost and you don't, it doesn't automatically mean that you do something wrong. You can still do everything right, and lose, because the rival has the boost advantage

But you can delay your progress to another series, if you take good note on the flag mechanics. Not that you have to play it like that, but you can.

Some are farming series 4, etc. You should look into such details if you haven't already 😉

As @lunar kite said, if you learn how to "not progress fast" you will find game much better. Obviously you cant win every duel, but its not everytime because of boosts.

Players need to understand and learn how to play with options they have. Someone have tousands of boosts, why should they not use them, when they stack them trough the seasons, or spend money for them. If I dont want to spend, I should play slower progress strat, as season is 12 months long, not over after one month.

For almost every situation, there is logical explanation, which many dont want to see.

On that topic, can we please have static pit times and not variable ones. Match Making uses our Team Score, our Team Score uses our “average pit time” to give us a fixed value, but our pit times aren’t fixed, they’re variable.

It’s not fair to have an average pit time of 3.00 and have a stop of 3.33 which would make the Team Score a lot lower. Meanwhile, your rival could have an average pit time of 3.33 and have a stop of 3.0.

After the v57 update, the game doesn't hide your top status bar (time, battery etc). It used to be hidden and was able to show it momentarily if you swipe it down a bit. Initially i thought some settings changed on my phone, but i checked on other games, the status bar is still hidden while game is open.

So yeah, i still don't know if its a local problem or others are seeing it too. Android Samsung btw.

A lot of requirement around upgrading is regulatory and licensing based. There's a lot of new data, privacy and age restriction regulations coming into place globally and older engine's don't support the functionality needed to meet them. Unity also ends support of older engine versions over time as well.

Sometimes the battery activates on its own, or conversely, when you use the motor in management mode, the power unit drains (as if the motor were under maximum load).

Another issue is that when the battery activates, it doesn't provide the boost it should.

Yes. Put the level you have upgraded and the left number. It will calculate up to what level you can get - for example if you are at 4 and have 160 cards - it will see you have enough levels for 5 and 6 and will show the max level at 6. Should also show you somewhere what amount of money you will need to get there too 😆

Well just to begin you have to realise that people who spend will have an advantage over you. Otherwise there would be no reason to spend

You can still maximize your winrate by going all out for the common track stat in each series. That will mathematically give you the highest winrate

If you use boost, prioritize driver stat since it has much more impact. Even if the car stat doesnt match, a good +20 or +25 driver stat boost is good enough

You just need to remind yourself that even if you face a bot (against all the official advice lol)... There is a hidden stat that increases the capability of the bot drivers which means you are at a disadvantage from start if you are too low on stats in the series you are racing

For example I can easily win without boosts upto S9 but in S10 I can barely win without boosts

There's no black and white answer to this. If you have a great start and over take some drivers in the first few corners, I continue and see if I can grab a few more positions. I usually stop boosting if I settled in position and dont see easy over takes

However if your start sucks and you fall back a few positions, I stop boosting and play the long game. Im not going to waste 40% of ers and gain 0 positions. Better to use that power unit later

I would never default to going from 70% all the way to 0%. It only works in some situations

Yeah you're kinda cooked if you have no power unit and the bot starts going full blast at the end of lap 1

And remember all other ai cars on the grid also start using full boost at the same time, even if you cant see it visually

They all follow the same algorithm

The biggest difference, is the inflation. The increased amount of flags, per series. The amount of coins to enter Gps, and duels, the cost to upgrade parts and drivers. The increased cost to asset trade, and every body's favourite. (he says with sarcasm) The increase in bucks to open crates, yes its capped from a certain series. But this was 1 thing they didn't need to change, same with asset trading. They can increase the price, but any other thinking or adjusting. Could potentially "break the balance of the game"

Just pick the level that suits you best to maximise your result. You’ll only get 1-3 parts/drivers from the rewards but there’s a strong likelihood you’ll be using some of them still anyway. Especially the Rare/Epics

Crossing my fingers for you! It can be a grind but enjoy it and try not push ahead too fast or you’ll hit walls which kill motivation haha

Definitely do the spreadsheet though if you’re willing, it’s vital to how I play now in giving me ideas and ideal setups for whichever type of race I’m doing.

Also aim to change your setups to maximise each race in the event. So if a race is Overtaking/Power unit, make your best setup towards that. Doesn’t sound like much but it goes a looong way to making you competiive

Asking as there is quite a difference between the two:

a) if it's total TS difference - at least some of these will be in stats that won't really help your performance during the race. 30 overtaking and tyre management advantage won't really help you on a defense track and is for the most part just wasted higher team score if in the track stats you are almost equal
b) if it's mostly track stats - then it could be something else also - hitting traffic in pit lanes, bad start, etc

TS isn't an ideal indicator of your (or opponent's) strength

Tbf the current rotation in s11 does require a fair amount of boost usage due to all 2/4 current tracks requiring 2 stops along with mixed weather in that too

Most people around know that I keep track of many things:

April 20 - I had 42,669 total boosts (out of which 40,806 premium (read anything except Self Control, Warrior, Ballast, Instinct, Downforce and Hex)
May 10 - roughly when I hit S12 - I am at 41,595 total boosts, out of which 39,463 premiums

I am till s12, trying! 😄 I haven’t been in 1 race so far this season (duels, sprints or GP) where I haven’t boosted both drivers, always been boosting

That's 1074 total boosts down and 1343 premium ones. So even the worst case - i'm less than 1500 boosts down to reach S12
