You are on here enough to know Onyx. Pretty sure you can see the spreadsheet. if you spending $8 on a new series bundle You would think you could get 1-2 cards of that SERIES at least. Right? Thats kinda the point of the S8 Bundle lure. Just letting player know not to waste money on it

That’s the mistake here - thinking you would get it. It’s completely wrong. You get everything from s1 to s8. Not s8. It’s not a series X - in this case s8 - asset bundle. It’s a S8 platinum with advertised s1-8 assets inside

The higher you go - the more diluted your drops are. You have 75 possible drops in a s8 crate. The only s7 and s8 epics are exactly two. Out of 10.

That's the issue though @steel trench , it shouldn't be like that, its hard enough to get epics as it is, and nothing more frustrating than getting an S1 asset from S12 leg crate. It should be that any epics dropped should be from that perticular series

I'm in S9 1 leg crate, 3 plat crates and 20+ golds and not a single downforce and that's the only epic in that series, frustrating doesn't even begin to tell the story

Theres only 75 players in my group (Junior) for the opening round and the cut off is 383 points. I only scored 362 points sitting at p46.

I am certain that these are non-human opponents and really difficult to beat, which has hurt my chances at the event leading to me being unable to progress to the final round. I understand if they appear a few times but in my case it has appeared in 90% of all event match ups, which feels like a bug or at least something fishy.

Connection issues are a constant problem on mobile titles as they can be caused by issues on either end. They can't completely be eliminated from one end.

Right now we don't have any server-side issues taking place. You can report them to Support to be checked but if there are no issues our side to investigate, we may be limited on what can be fixed.

Your first GP is based on your Flags at the time of entering the event. Not sure what happens if you don’t make the FR for the next event though. If it reverts back to flags or your score. Even though it’ll be zero

Even though I'm getting wins in s10, I've tapped out of s10 sprints 1st 2 rounds. A silver and bronze crate, then next 2 rounds were coins... and I don't know how to reset groups, with coins. I do when I get crates... I'm just not scoring enough pts, to make the 190pts quick enough. But from the 2 sprint crates I did get, I pulled epic Carlos, and Ocon. Then from the platinum crate Epic Bortoleto dropped, so I'll take that, for a morning of s10

I made a thread about this in #1146708050414145566 last year, and through conversations. It was made apparent that making duel crates, slightly more series specific. Wasn't possible, due to the time of year it was, the amount of work it would take, but also there was the "balance of the game" to think about. But it "could" be something that could be added this year.

Is there anything at all in the pipe line, with potential changes being made this year? Cause there are players, including myself. That are between s10-12 already, granted that pool of players. Might not be huge, but when you land a platinum or a legendary crate. Your guaranteed "x"amount of epics, from those crates. But there's in theory depending on what series your in, your guaranteed a 1 in 12 chance of your Epics being from the series that your in. Due to the drop rates, of epics in each plat or ledge crate. There's very little chance, of getting epics from your series. And this is something that needs looking at, I remember the feeling of injustice. Of grinding getting a platinum or ledgend crate, waiting for it to unlock... And no epic from the series I'm in.

Similarly to Gps, for example your in champs Gp. You spend around 3hrs playing, from Q to FR. Using between 80-100 boosts, you earn a p1-3 or even a top 10 medal. And your rewarded with... an epic outside of the s10-12 range of champs Gp!! We ALL know the frustration of that.

If you can make changes to the game, like hiking up the price of bucks it costs. To open crates, (which no one ever asked for) then surely after 5-6yrs you can adjust the "balance" of epic distribution in platinum, legendary, and champs Gp crates. Which is something everyone would appreciate, if something was improved, and changed about this

Don't disagree with your points. Making the crate experience more rewarding, or at least less disappointing, is something I keep pushing for.

Without going into a lot of detail, reward adjustments are a massive change. To the point of potentially collapsing the entire game economy, so it's not something easily adjusted and does take a lot of time to design, model, analyse and look to change. I don't currently have a timeframe on such a change but it's something I, and a few others, keep pushing for.

From a Player perspective, I can see that desire. From an economy point of view, that's too narrow a band of asset injection for the amount of Players rewarded.

Maybe such a narrow band is possible for only those in the top 'x' positions in the Final Round but wouldn't realistically work for everyone to receive those rewards.

Matchmaking requires the same app version. You can only match with Players with the same app version as you.

As you've manually updated to the latest v57, you can only match with other such accounts which, at the beginning of every update, is very few Players at all. This has been the standard for every update.

The latest update, v57, is a required technical update. As seen in the patch notes it's an update of the Unity game engine which we're required to do. Standard practice is not to include bigger feature updates alonside this due to it being a core engine update and other features heighten risk.

I understand what you and @steel trench are saying, and I fully appreciate that we get given more coins overall vs last year.

I just feel that with bucks cost for crates increasing without any improvement in the quality or quantity we get in the crate, and now the increase coin cost for trades, we are not seeing any increase in the value for the returns.

Essentially, the coin cost is not in the same ball park as the bucks, and the coins are easily obtainable and won’t be an issue in being able to afford the trade. My point was that it’s yet another thing that’s gone up without improving on what we get back, and I was more frustrated that after years of complaining about trading they haven’t changed anything with it, except now to up the cost.

You are still thinking of absolute number. It's wrong. Think in races per X. Whether something is 1 coin and you get 1 coin from a race, or 1000 and you get 1000 in one race - it's the same relative cost even if it might seem "1000 times more expensive". The relative cost is 1:1.

The cost is not my main issue here… the issue is they’ve ignored touching anything to do with trading for years, but they didn’t mind touching it to increase the coins… it’s the annoyance that they haven’t touched it to improve it but made a conscious effort to make the coin change… so my frustration is at them picking and choosing what they want to change about the trading system

😄 We've asked for a change to trading for years. Price has pretty much gone up and down between seasons to keep it relative to what it was before. Noone disagrees with you regarding the fact that it needs to change. But the price is not an issue - what issues we had before is what issues we have now

Trading is stuck in an economy give or take 2021 season, when we a) didn't have 1 level higher for commons / rares / epics like we do now and b) we didn't have 66 drivers. It's beyond outdated and is hardly any help for epics after level 4. If that much.

With 300k+ commons ; 68k rares and 27.5k epics - even if you traded from day one it wouldn't be enough for almost anything.

Again - we're saying the same thing. But you are frustrated for something that you shouldn't be frustrated about. This seems like it's pretty much automatic process that happens every year - adjust the price to be relatively the same under the new series fees. That's all. I don't even think anyone puts a thought for it for such a change - it's simply - change this, move on, except of "I must change this or i'll be in trouble".

We knew in advance that trading is probably going to be bad or we would have heard it during the season reveal. There is radio silence about it for a long time apart from Sam's acknowledgement it needs to change. Well, yes - it does need to change. But when there isn't anything concrete - just assume it's the same and move on.

Me personally - I am not focusing on it. I did two years ago. Did it help me ? No. I ended up at the exact same place last year than I did the year before. Am I going to do it this year? Unlikely, especially with the increased prices. Unless a major change comes but I honestly doubt that.

Keep in mind also that trading is limited to very very very very very few people. Most players haven't even heard about it, nor they know it's possible. With that - I honestly doubt it will reach any higher priority for the team to look at

I get what and where your coming from, essentially across the bored. Every financial aspect of the game has gone up, whether that's 2.5m coins to trade now, compared to 1m last year. To the prices of coins it costs to enter higher Gps, and potentially duels too. And let's not forget the kicker, of the increased cost to open crates.

I would be just as frustrated, regardless how easy it is to obtain coins. Its the principle of they can make changes to the trading system, when it suits them. But when the player base have requested change, with AT, for so long. We get hit with the generic. Things have to be "balanced" or, "it takes time to make these changes." Well clearly not aa it only took 12 months, to make financial in game changes

Neither I have worked for them, nor I plan to. I use common sense from what I've seen them do over the last 7 years. Some are around for longer than I am and have seen the same thing.

I'm not on their side if you think it is the case and if you do - you are wrong. I want this game to be better. That's all.

I think that Hutch is generaly concetrate on open crates revenue this season. Prices are up for crate opening. Upgrades price are up,flags are way up between series. It means you have to drive much more, getting more crates. Plus tracks are shorter,getting crates faster. And then you can't upgrade rare part from s8 to level 6 because it cost 460m while you get 2,5m for a win. You can't even while drive s9 for 5,4m. It means 600 bucks each time for coins. Crazy.
