Thats true. I think there's 3 scenarios in this game. You have races which 1) you win by a large margin 2) races you lose by a large margin and 3) races which are quite 50/50 and the better player will win

There are many players around who are vastly outperforming their setups just because they know what they are doing. You could have the best setup out there and still lose if you have no idea what you’re supposed to do where

Its like world of tanks (15vs15). A 49% winrate player is going to be worse than a 58% winrate player if they both played thousands of games. They both have to deal with the same randomness and matchmaking system, but the 58% player is able to swing more games in his favor, thus winning more games

This game is the same. A good player can win races in which the exact same scenario, a worse player would have lost

I see almost every real player full empty their power unit at the start, even if they are way at the back and made no progress. Instead you can boost for the first 2 corners, and if you are falling back just go back to neutral pace. You then have plenty of power unit for when the field is more spread out

Yeah but the problem wasnt the boosts... was the tyres, my drivers i chose the ones that give me 4 laps on jeddah and 5 on monaco so handlebar gave me 15 TM the same as downforce that he took, the diferent then on defense sure its a 25 vs 10... but half a lap he was without tyres so i could had taken downforce the end result most likely the same

To put in a perspective. I’m new to series 10 and my top team score without regard to any specific featured stat is about 1200. If I went into champs I would get my butt kicked even with great boosts and some luck.

Because making some generalizations about the game without even touching champion before is not really fine. No - it’s not a complex game, it’s easy to pick up and do fine - especially if you also spend in the meantime.

But it’s far from just watching the cars go round and round and it requires a lot of planning (your races but also long term your entire season), lots of micro management too and also have to know how it works

Game design and retention mechanisms are becoming so aggressive and not UX friendly at all. Normally, who cares?
You play or you don’t. But
it’s really hard to understand how the one and only official F1 game is designed to serve only a very small market of people with no plan for future engagement at all! More like, why?
The market for F1 racing games and demand is already very small.
Why would they further frankenstein this and put a price tag on every single element in the game? Is it even still considered a game?
You can’t earn cool liveries.
You can’t customize most of your experience.
You can hardly win anything without a boost, and even if you do, there's nothing to do with it.
What’s the end goal?
Where's the challenge or competition ?
Why would anyone care to be the top player? Guild communications are barely usable, so no shared social layer exists either.
What are we looking at here?
There seem to be 100 active race clans, but if you look at all of them, most have barely 10 players, and many are just super casual players. How many active players are there? Roughly, it seems to be fewer than 2000 to 5000 at best.
Are these data points not enough to rethink the entire approach ?
Do you really believe you offer enough value for someone to spend $ 50 on four digital skins that are barely visible ?

Yeah, drys in wet are slow and in a non safety car situation I wouldn’t change them but because the laps takes longer under safety I’ll swap but the game doesn’t stop cars passing as it should when the safety car is out. Last season it would block and slow the cars behind down but this season they just sweep past in the corners.
Just mentioning incase people have experienced it or, for those who haven’t yet and think of doing it to think twice to be sure it’s the correct move

Different "Clash" games do things completely differently, unfortunately it's been a while since anything club related last happened. Atm the only reason we have clubs, is for the additional perks in crates, the extra car set up slots. And the Global leader board, for a game that's 6/7 years old. The best we've got as of now, is duels, 2 days of sprint each week. (Which is still via duels) and then your weekly GP

Allot of things stay the same, bar the prices. I.e the cost of opening crates has gone up, the amount of flags. To max out a series has gone up, the price you pay for individual gold, platinum, and legendary crates has gone up. The only thing that's gone down, is the amount of laps on certain tracks.

If I understand this years regs right, but last year. During the F1 season, and driver that was in p1 didn't get DRS. So I'm pretty sure this year they don't get to use they're ERS battery, however I believe they do get Active boost. If they cross over a specific line, on the track. They'll get a lap of boosted energy, allowing them to go faster for 1 lap...

With regards to the game, this is where as the lead driver you need to be strategic with you PU. If your using it at every given opportunity, once its above 5% you'll get over taken with ease. Even if your not p1, it's wise to hold onto 20-30% PU. So then if you are p1 and get over taken, once your ERS becomes active. You can use both ERS, And your PU together. So that when your rivals get they're ERS back again, you'll have built up enough of a lead. So you won't get constantly over taken

hello , i have a question, should i consider team score going into gp event, does ai get weaker or stronger with different teamscore + do i get duel vs lower team score player or should i max out as much as possible

GP events per tier have harder AI. Say Challenger is limited to S6 assets but AI can be harder than your duels in S6. You should maximise your assets for the GP tier you enter.

Fair point. But maybe he does not know :)). Anyway, Impact is used for your Overtake Mode (the battery). As in.. it gives you more powerful battery stats for speed and overtaking. Think of it like this... without, you have Lvl 1 Battery... with.. You have Lvl 3 Battery 🙂

Don't worry Tristan, you'll get used to it. There will come a point where all opponents have fancy frames and you'll start thinking that you are the only one that does not have a frame. Everyone will have Pit Pass. And most importantly, a time where whatever you do, and however many points for Race Start your drivers have, they will always get a poor and an average start in the current highest Series, but if you go to one or 2 lower series, then then get Perfect starts (same car, same setup, same drivers). And then you will come here to post if anyone else has the same issue or is it all in your head. And someone will answer nicely: Must be the water! :))

did you guys figured out the batter topic?
Looking at the lvl 11 vs lvl 4, stats are higher + duration except overtake mode + impact that is 50%
Somehow it feels the s11 battery is weaker than the s4....which is strange 🙂

I haven’t done a deep dive, but, based on my feelings using all of the batteries, I like the Epic one for its impact. It feels like it gets more overtakes done.

The s7 one is decent for quali. But impact is a lot better what I saw also

and recharge doesn't get as much use either. It's a few seconds here and there, nothing substantial

It doesn’t seem to make enough difference on most tracks. Maybe it would help on the shorter tracks where you want it sooner, but they feel too weak
