@oak dagger First, THANK YOU for the sheet, amazing as alwasy. Second, does the suggested loadout no longer show the best loadout if upgraded? That was a feature i really liked in the previous ones. I could decide if i wanted to spend the coins to upgrade a given part based on how much it increased my performance.

One side note, while I understand the grouping of the drivers by common, rare, epic, it makes it a bit hard to quickly fill out. The previous version you could quickly fill out by just going in order. Now i have to take and extra step to make sure i don't fill out the wrong level/card value.

You can't race AS a bot, but there are bots that Hutch has if there's not enough peple racing in the series or if you enter a series with a total team score well below the suggested values. You can only tell if their bots by watching how they race and the fact that a bot will never use boosts. You can sometimes tell by how quicly they go into the race screen.

they also use overtake in the weirdest places. In Japan for example, Bots use overtake on the small straight before the hairpin which is not a good place to use it. In China, they use it on the small straight after the first corkscrew which is a waste. For Japan, use overtake either going into 130R or on the main straight. in China, use overtake on the main backstraight. You can see this on every track, bots are very predictable and very bad at overtake use.

bots also follow the same pit strategy as the AI. e.g. say you're on a 7-lap race and the AI elects to pit on lap 3, 6, and 1. You see it's going to rain in the middle of lap 4. If you can, just run a 1/2 lap on dead tires and go onto wets, but AI will pit regardless and do a full 3 laps on dry tyers even though it's 100% wet.

they dont generally quit, they keep playing but it's lterally just to waste your time. They get upset at the matchup and play the worst way possible to make it take more time for you. Hutch could fix this easily, but they wont. All Hutch needs to do is let you leave the race once both your cars have crossed the line and the race result is set. There's very, very few instances where you could finish well ahead of your rival and the race result change after the fact. If someone wants to run around for 10 minutes on wet tires, pitting on every lap, let them, but let the other racer go onto the next race. This is how Asphalt 9 does it. Once you've completed the race, you can go do other stuff.

@eternal fossil the IF upgraded loadout section will be returning soon. I left it out for now because the sheet started to lag and would sometimes crash with all the formulas and calculations for different parts and loadouts. Just need to tidy some other stuff up and it’ll come back.

On the order of the drivers, change your ingame filter from default to rarity and you can run through them like normal, once you’ve unlocked all drivers. A little annoying, but for future proofing the sheet for extra assets being added, it’s worth it.

The reason we have boosts at the current strengths. They went from 1-5 before per stat. Which was fine. People complained it was too little (when it was already halfway in the season) and they were multiplied by 5, for 5-10-15-20-25 per stat. At that point (halfway through the season) 25 stat might seem fine and balanced. But it remained like this ever since and now we have a boost that can provide you 5 times your stat from series 1.

So yes - blame the players for wanting this

With track stats there isn’t much in terms of “feeling” - if it’s a cornering track - you need cornering.if it’s a speed one - you need speed. That’s it

For s5 (power unit focused) I would go little more balanced car, so I would take option 1 from those 2

and for GP races, as Qnyx said, it depends on track, as best way to score more points is using different setups for tracks

This gets my goat, Just had my first go at series 7. My Gasly is far superior to my Colapinto. Racing Melbourne in the wet. No boosts. Same strategy. Colapinto third Gasly 23rd. Gasly just couldn’t overtake, he felt nerfed. Running up the back of cars, refusing to overtake in clear air. Against oppo I had better drivers, same strategy, was all green on all stats except DRS -2. He finishes 6-7 ftw.

You will have a harder time in champion and you will already be in the top groups in all your lower tiers. I wouldn’t do it myself as it’s not worth it

You’ll be in groups with probably the top 100 in the game, that are already series 12 with level 4+ drivers and parts, and your in series 5, work it out for yourself

The results are weighted based on tier. The results of higher tiers have higher impact.

I try one more time, as you seems like dont want to see problem. Lets say you never touch any GP, so your "elo" points are 0 and you will be put in groups where most of the players have that 0 too. But if you goes Contender, make it to final round and do terrible, your elo still will go up lets say to 500 points, which for future goups will be bad for you, because junior and challenger elo is much lower. Than you goes into chall as you see its hard and find yourself with players with multiple great results from challenger with much much better cards and you cant make it to finals for some time

My guess is each position (1-100) has a score.
Each Tier (Junior etc) has a multiplier or weight.
Each group within that Tier has a multiplier/weight.

It’s why players who go to high tiers and or are in the top groups get stuck. While players in the lower groups get an easier ride for longer. No P1 score is the same.

I started to work with it in 2024 season , based on multiple tests comparing historical results of people grouped together I was able to assign weights to every single FR position that you can get in the game

For sure its not 100% accurate , but I would say its for sure 90+ whats totally enough for me 😄 We basically use it in the club to avoid each other in groups to maximize chances that all of us will end the season with good results.

Ok…Gasly apparently has a stat boost, I have him at level 3. During the event both teams are qualifying DEAD LAST like we are APEX or something, and neither my or the other guys drivers can’t seem to move up the grid to save his life. The other guy I was dueling was having the same issue with his drivers. Can a dev please explain why the NPC grid pack in DUELS is straight ginger beer, and the NPC grid pack is during the event is like DRINKING THE BOOST MAILED IN FROM ARNOLD WITH THE HIGHEST QUALITY DBOL ON THE PLANET? I am dropping 40pts in Duels but literally dragging the bottom in the Event. Is there some sort of hidden mechanic here?

GP events are roughly a series higher difficulty wise - so Junior is s4-ish, challenger - s7, contender s10-11, champion - maxed out s12
