Does Season25 different to previous seasons? If not, I think the pace is quite acceptable. We would takes lot of times for later series, so why waste more time in earlier series.

It's the same as in previous seasons.

Reason is that you can get through series 1-4 in very few races and as a result you are thrown in a higher series without even being ready for it. Newer players are punished by that (for lack of boosts to compensate) and they feel forced to buy stuff from the get go

You can max out S1-5 including in 66 races. 1-4 is 38. With 38 crates, even if you open all of them you will struggle no matter what.

It's such a shame how Hutch Games is ruining the game with their Podium Stars! I've got six legendary items, and gotten nothing. I got seven crates in today's event, and again, nothing. Nothing in the Pit Pass either. If you don't buy the Podium Stars, you'll never get what you need, especially not level 3 or anything like that. It's simply outrageous. Well, what good are the rewards from the event in the purple crates if everything is geared towards podium stars, but you get them so rarely that you have no way of getting the drivers to level 3 or even all of them, despite driving so many races?

Players are slightly more to blame than Hutch on that. If the players didnt buy them, Hutch would have to change them. It started with Legendary drivers going from a static level to 7.

To be fair @clever fern Dose have a point, when they added podium stars. For regular and legendary drivers, it made all our previous progress obsolete. As a lv2 Verstapen was way better, then his lv7 epic. Then the legendary PS are even stronger, then the regular driver PS.

They even made the hot prospect and turbocharged version's pointless, even though they became more accessible. They weren't worth the upgrades once podium stars came into the game

No one claims the implementation was good. It nullified my drivers as soon as they were released.

However at the same time - almost every duel has at least one or two of the podium stars . seeing lvl 7 podium legends is absurd on its own - and that’s not isolated either. That means that no matter how much people (publicly) hate these - the specials are an overwhelming success. As bad as that is for many players

That doesn’t make it a good decision long term though. Yes, hutch get the income from high spenders but I (and I’m sure other too) have become more and more demoralised about the game.
Truthfully I’m questioning how much fun I get from this game and whether it’s worth my time.

series 1 to 4 drivers can be upgraded for cheap, set a limit and do it, then earn back with 2x

We only had a couple. Basically, you competed collectively as a club against the other clubs in your exhibition club table, the higher your club finished, the better the crate quality everyone received at the end. Also, at the same time you were competing against your club mates within the club and you got a better crate depending on your finishing position in the club.
They ran for around 48/72 hours and were good fun between club mates and other clubs. It was all based on rep… most of us held on to our milestone rep boosts this season in the hope of using them for it, but they never came 🤦🏻‍♂️

One of the tournaments was absolutely brilliant as it was famous for about 403 reasons, but the highlight for some of us was the “I’m Spartacus” self-outing on discord of players who cheated and took too many crates and got a temporary suspension of their account, who then came here to complain they were hard done by for being banned from playing for a week, despite exploiting a bug that allowed you to repeatedly claim the reward that was stated as being only one per person 😂

To be fair, I like what I see. There's much better graphic quality on track, the circuits look more realistic. As for the garage and looking at parts, that looks iffy. (but I'm aware that'll either be a alpha or bete version) It'll be interesting to see what the new camera angles will be like

The results beg to differ. Each of these results will be pushing you up the ladder so you're matched with others who have similar results. You've reached FR more often than not all season

Just being a devil’s advocate.. at the end of day , it’s a game based on stat .. sure skill comes in but not big of a deal .. there is no exceptional strat .. just knowing where to click in right places and that’s not hard to learn .. maybe a day or if you are slow , a week tops … its more about what level your cards are and how can you get them … those who spend obviously get it .. those who are ftp , a bit harder and impossible without grind … all you are paying for a is a unity engine implementation of stream data where dots move based on config and variables

As I showed in my screen shots, I got p1s in both contenders and champs. And I'm free to play, of which yoi said was impossible to do... I've gotten p1s in champs the last 4yrs of playing as f2p

I did like that idea which someone put up earlier in the clubs. We could have monthly crates rewards like like the weekly ones to give you some to go for extra.
