With the new season on the way i would love to see all drivers unlockable/collectable from the get go but they progress through 3 levels of rarity, each rarity has levels, as you collect more cards. S7 is focused on tyre management as you said. You want to use your highest Tyre management drivers you have. You would ideally avoid any driver who has a lot of unnecessary stats that will bring harder opponents for you

I have an example right. Our township runs a Street Sprint event. Entry used to be by gold coin donation. We had 10 to 15k people turn up throughout the weekend. Children free so maybe 9-14k are paying adults. Maximum of 21k earned roughly from gate sales. Recently we raised the price to 10 dollars per person. Just over 5000 people turned up last year and that’s 50k earned, minimum. Almost a 30k increase in profits and we could spend less on accomodating everyone. Meaning we could make the experience better for the lesser number of people. Works exactly the same in game design philosophy.

Going through the post I can say a few things , started playing this game about 3 months back when the f1 season got over , have reached level 10 and have also got top 10 on container not saying it's good, but I think quite decent, my observations about this game are as follows, the ai matching is absolutely horrible, if you can get the team score to a desired point then you will keep sailing through the levels, this game has absolutely no correlation to the drivers and how you will build your car around them till i guess level 9 when yeah a bit of it comes in but a bit only. And secondly this game is basically a game of patience and a Lil bit of strategy on a few circuits that's about it, it gets a Lil boring though, anywhos just a few pointers as I thought why hutch might not be able to retain more customers

It’s more a case of the volume of players at a certain number of maximum flags. If you run a lower number of maximum flags you could theoretically face closer opponents. Whereas being in an average number of flags will have you facing opponents with the greatest difference in team score

there is no way to lower maximum flags once you have reached a number. You can only go higher. Maybe you get lucky at a higher number of max flags. But it’s definitely luck more than judgement

Dropping flags in lower series has actually hurt my matchmaking in s12 since I’m not at a more normal number of maximum flags as the others when entering the series. It works a bit like a bell curve.

as I say it’s like a bell curve. If you get to s12 without dropping any flags then there will be an average number of maximum flags by the time you get there. Currently, I am lower than that so I don’t have the “entry level” number of flags, and therefore get much more difficult opponents.

The only part of matchmaking that team score determines is that the opponents team score advantage and vice versa does not exceed 10% above or below the opponents team score

so at 1700 team score you can get paired with a +170 team score opponent
