That being said, hopefully, Hutch will keep in mind that removing all backdoor options for f2p and low-spenders to be successful would result in the game dying out, or at least, they'll understand that such development would not be the optimal profit point. P2W will always depend on a much greater pool they're paying to win against, so there has to be some motivation and way to win to preserve those.

On a second point, it would be great to see the game moving in the direction of overall transparency of the key mechanics and overall more fairness to all, with skill being the main way of differentiation, rather than the need to have to gatekeep key info due to self-preservation interests and p2w fears. The current state creates dissonance about which of the two one considers more important, which may well lead to more hardship, as you say.

I’ve done four races so far. Out of the 4 - 3 have been against players NOT following the track stats. Real players boosting.

Nothing of this is being kept secret, it’s discussed over and over and over again. It’s just ignored and we get “zomg zomg zomg his TS is higher I can’t win”. This is as core mechanic as one can get in the game and 2 years later - it’s still unknown

Game won’t die with this being changed - but the combination of people not knowing when to stop talking about it and s1 grind - it will simply lead to a change. And then all of the guys will be here with their pitchforks out

Possibly, yes, it could end up with pitchforks and hardship. But what you say about track stats is a great example of how all things should be - rules known, for those who take care to read them. Rather than playing a chess game where your opponent knows some hidden rules you don't even get to know over the board, unless somebody from the inner circle points them out to you. Now the dilemma - do you just keep playing such a game because it benefits you, or do you want it changed? I'll keep it at this as I've already said enough, with fingers crossed that any future changes may make it both more fair and f2p friendly.

I am kinda new to series 12, and i got a serious community question. Is botting really common? I see a lot of the same strategies getting used at that series, and its not the recommended one when you look it up online.
Also im pushing for weekly ranking first spot for the first time, and one guy is having some sus behaviour. I took him over, using coin boosts, and throwing race boosts during that, and just when im close to overtake him, his acc gets active. I overtake him during the time im boosted. but before i do, i see him start playing and winning and climbing marginally, meaning he is not using coin multiplier.
My multiplier runs out, i log out and take a break, and when i log back in after a couple of hours, i see him having a half a billion lead on me, and not climbing. This is all today. I use another boost (one that i had saved from seasonal resources), and i overtake him again. Once again, when i got close to him in score he started being active again, and climbing without a coin multiplier. I just logged back in and he has overtaken me, not sure if he is active right now, as i just seen it, but is this not sus behaviour? Has anyone had similar experience? The account has 91% win rate if this is relevant.

Don’t be so hard on yourself - p1 contender is a great result! I didn’t get one all last season and I’ve been playing for several seasons, if you get in the wrong side of the grouping system then without perfection and good luck, it’s hard.
