Hello, I had a problem with the game; it disconnected on the last lap of the Mexico Grand Prix. Normally, it's supposed to save the standings and update them afterwards, right?

Ya im gonna need yall to take out the boost laps from the bots i have zero interest in racing with boosts every race. It that point why have boosts just add the stats to the drivers and parts and do away with them. Getting beat terribly by a bot with 100 less points and 20 less stat points in every area is absolute nonsense

Players "protesting" against matchmaking by just letting their cars crawl around on the wrong tyres and wasting the other players time is getting ridiculous. Players don't make the matchmaking, so why punish others by wasting their time? If you don't want to race, just forfiet and save the other players time and boosters. This nonsense happens far too often.
I raced someone earlier named "Toyota", in S12 Austria in wet conditions; their TS was only about 70 less, but he put on hard tyres and just left his cars to crawl around for 6 laps before going to wets... they finished 175 seconds behind (almost 3 minutes). Stupidly, had he bothered to try and race, they might well have won as their speed stat was quite a bit more than mine.
STOP the matchmaking "protests" when you think you are being hard done by. STOP punishing other players just because your lip is dragging on the ground. Just forfeit and move on. It isn't players than determine matchmaking, so stop f'n wasting their time.

I personally have no problem with losing it happens its the new clown show losses that started about 2weeks ago. I noticed immediately and brought it up in the guild. And to my surprise many others have experienced the same thing. It can only be ghost boosted lap times. It's one thing to get a player and have them use a boost when you dont its a whole different thing to have a bot with zero chance of winning beat you by 3 positions

I was even getting down with the new drivers since they made the legendary coins more available. But this new thing is a deal breaker for me maybe its just a coding error I hope. It ruins the entire feel of the game

Otherwise, the reason is simple - he'd catch some +100 stronger s12 and get crushed, because that's how it goes. s11 is good for some easy coin earning with s12 gear, while you struggle for s12 crates. if you do it too late - you might get in a new group where people have raced. If you also enter through the sprint screen itself - also a chance to enter a group in progress. Close the app at above screen, start a new race through the actual S12 (or whatever) card and you should be fine

Hutch will not skip a GP week and they will prefer a release to be in a small break (2 weeks) where first week can be skipped before an actual GP. Signs are for the first GP being Canada, with season ending with Miami, 1 week to prepare to enter new GPs and then first GP held in Canada

Getting to the point of winning sprints off the bat in S12 will take a fairly long time. And clock is ticking.

Doing that at an earlier stage can help, but when time is running out - you really have to find the balance in which it's worth staying in a lower series (even if it's 11) when you have 16 epics (out of 41) yet to unlock. I think you would be better off sacrificing sprints (as we basically all have (apart from guys that are spending) in early S12) in order to unlock and boost your driver / part CC scores

I have spent real money upgrading drivers and car parts, opening crates, and building my setup, only to find out it is all being locked in a Hall of Fame and reset for the new season.

So I paid to upgrade assets that I now cannot even use, just look at?

What kind of progression system is this?

If seasonal resets are part of the core design, was there clear communication that all drivers and car components would become unusable at season end? If so, I may have missed it, but that feels like something that should be extremely explicit before players invest money.

Are players receiving equivalent value in new season assets or boosts? Or does all paid progression simply expire?

Is there any legacy game mode or tournament structure where previous season drivers and car setups can still be used competitively? Or are they permanently retired from gameplay?

This feels like a major punch in the gut, especially for an official licensed title. Seasonal refresh is one thing, but wiping functional progress after paid upgrades is another.

Season change is part of the core design and has been for 7 seasons. It’s clearly communicated with articles ingame too. Ingame help DOES help a lot.

This is common in many other sporting seasonal games too (nba, fifa etc)

You are getting a bonus based on your season progress. If you expect to start though with full s12 setup - that’s not happening

Everything resets, except for bucks and boosts, usually around may. Everyone starts from Series 1 again.

My advice if you're new this late in the season is to get a grasp on the game first before spending on anything. Once you understand how and what works then you can better decide if you want to spend on it or not.

Not entirely true. As the week after the season change there isn’t a GP either. If they release in the week or 21st - you will have less than a week to prepare for a GP, which is super unrealistic given how unstable the game would be first days. I don’t see that happening even with hutch
