The level of matchmaking and opponents sometimes increases dramatically and I end up losing 7-8 duels in a row before getting an equal opponent. In the last 20-25 duels, haven’t come across a single opponent who did not have pit pass. And this year Hutch has learnt a new trick, introducing new parts and drivers late in the season so one has to spend lot again to acquire these parts or drivers in order to remain competitive.

I guess what Hutch is saying is either pay up or get lost. Is there any other F1 related game ? They shutdown F1 mobile racing too some years (that’s when I switched to this game).

Hutch needs to know that many if not most are playing because of the love for F1 not for love of this game. There is a difference.

Perhaps we should all write to Formula One Management to bring back F1 mobile racing or change the licensing partner for this game..

Okay, you are atleast over 1500, so i try to explain it. Season is coming to the end, so most of the guys in S12 are really much stronger, than recommended TS. As you can see on the picture, you are somewhere at the bottom for S12. Still this numbers are based around old parts. As you know, we got lot of new speed/cornering (now also PU) parts which are much stronger than old parts, so your matchup are most likely to be stronger TS. Last thing is, that TS sometimes are not best comparision between players. Lets say we get in S12 race in Miami. I play with Sainz and Norris. I am 100 TS down on you and you run Gasly and Hamilton. Who is most likely to win?

Placements don't count in event groupings, only participation counts! And some people take advantage of this by not participating in events enough!
Like you, other players are penalized. Groupings need to be revisited; they've been working poorly for two years!

You are probably on low end of your group in terms of grouping and the guy is on the high end. It all depends on the player pool in contender this week but its definitely possible

In junior difficulty is close to s4, s7 for challenger, s10-11 in contender and full maxed in champ. Unless you are pretty high geared (close to max in the respective series 3/6/9) you will have a hard time against the ai, except apparently in challenger

1. Extra coins now scale according to level (1 coin = 1% entry cost of a race at highest unlocked series, so 180k at S12)
2. Coin Surge 3h power up now reduced to 600 objective points (originally 1360)
3. Legacy points (for special edition and Legendary drivers) now available for objective points (20k legacy points for 4k objective points, 6k for 1.5k obj pts, 2k for 500k obj points)
4. Gold crate now limited to 1 redemption instead of 3 though

Yes. 6000 extra points needed for crates, but save 2280 from coin surge and 3160 from having 2 less gold crates, so net needed to redeem all is 560 more points than usual (we tend to get ~1k extra points every week after redeeming all normally)
It's just going to be more costly if you don't manage to get the GP event objective, or not qualify for the finals. But I will also say, they need to change the 18m coins option - it makes no sense given the new extra points conversion rates
