From what i understand Sam said, if you miss an event, you will still be in the same group rank but others in your group may go up if they join. So it's not you going down but rather others going up.

this is a known issue, I have it occuring on my main account - it is an issue between f1 clash and the latest IOS update. The only way to fix for now is race in FPS 30, after few races you will get use to it

Lvls and skill or knowledge of this game are not the same thing. His lvls and the boost he used he should have beat me out right. But skill and knowledge of the weather how many laps and PU management is how I beat him without boost. There is so much to this game to learn. This is why it's so frustrating with the state of the game tailored to a P2P mindset. So many potential great players never become them. Because they think that spending to win and having 40k of each boost will get them the results. It never really used to be so easy for them as it has been this season and last. You can see this by how hutch is tailoring the GP events for them to win. And making it almost impossible for those that don't spend to even enjoy the GPs. Because like dropping down to challenger or junior is really satisfying. How did it work ? FR grouping was based on OR scores?

Based on total points from Q and OR. And there were roughly 5-10 point “bands” between the groups. So you had to score a particular amount of points to be in the higher band (so you win the tiebreaker) but not as much to meet your club mates - in hunters we had a plan for everyone to score what amount of points to go to final in order not to screw each other. And if someone made a mistake - you would have to yield to the person that is supposed to be in that group

I have absolutely nothing against spenders, as the game depends on them. I don't like this direction as the pendulum is now deep into p2w territory. But any business or developer would do that in their place when you see the results 😄

That's a bit far. Again - one can spend their money any way they want to. If this brings them happiness - fine. No need to judge or make assumptions without knowing the full picture

I run a complete 0 spend account, I have way more fun on that account than I do on my spending account

If you lower expectations on low spend players you can enjoy the game if you strategically play smart

F2P is possible but again spending will 9/10 times win

But smart grouping can achieve good results

Personally I’d rather build a game with a massive and loyal player base that makes enough money to pay licensing fees and a balanced lifestyle than the predatory style of p2w gaming. This means although the game would have in app purchases for minor benefits maybe 10 dollars as maximum bundle. It is entirely up to the user to buy the amount they want of it. It’d certainly be more tedious to make a dozen purchases of 10 dollars, than a single and seemingly trivial purchase of 120 in one pop… but that’s just me.

Low your expectations, enjoy the fact that Contender is your go to and achieving it is your main goal and you will have fun grinding.
95% with P1 Contender is a big achievement in the game if the CC Point system continue the same way.

F2P is still strong in this game, but results are not earned overnight

Suzuka, Monaco, Abu Dhabi etc (Tracks many hate for their somewhat difficult overtaking) I can circumvent with good ERS management, I will agree it is a lot more fun when I don’t completely smoke my opponent in team score but instead by managing my pace

i know, but that comes at a cost of not finishing the pit pass milestones quicker than i really need to, not finishing objectives, not getting the maximum reward for the same effort
