@opal carbon it's great that we have the new game mode, but the fundamentals are still broken in the game, back markers blocking you off, being blocked in the pit lane, and the one thing that's really annoying me and nearly ruined GP is the race starts.

It's getting boring qualifying p10 and p12 only to be caught in a pile-up at turn 1 and falling to 17 and 19.

It's worsened by the fact that half the drivers this year have really bad race start stats, and then you add a RS boost to overcome that, only to end up on said pile-up.

It's been going on for too long now.
As much as a new game mode is welcome, we need long standing issues fixed.

I don't pretend to think that it's an easy fix, but it's been going on so long that its not really an acceptable reason for it not being fixed.
Time should have been put into these issues rather than prioritising new legends, new game modes and worst is spending dev time introducing DRS after 7 game seasons when F1 has got rid of it at the end of this season, why would you add this feature for the final season when other things need developing like ghosting back markers and cars in the pit etc

The frustration is understood. The bunching and backmarker issues is something both myself and Customer Support are regularly giving to the team.

This problem is quite a complicated one as there are multiple different mechanics and designs involved here and all of them are uniquely configured for each track. We've done some improvements in previous seasons but that hasn't completely solved it and further work is definitely needed.

The big hurdle we have here is that 2026 brings a number of core changes. More cars on the tracks and new car designs are the biggest factors. These are requiring some updates and changes to how they race on each track so there is a process already underway to try and improve this. It is heavily tied with the new cars/more cars design so we may not see substantial changes until 2026, though don't hold me to that being definitive.

To add to the above; different teams work in different areas. We have some who work on bugs while others work on new designs and mechanics. In a live-ops game like F1 Clash (and all others), there are always new features/mechanics being developed. It's a necessary part of game lifecycles. You'll almost never see a development team commit 100% of developers onto solely bug fixing, as much as you and I would like to see that sometimes.

If you want easier matchmaking, you can use rare sainz to tank your TS by 25 as long as he is the same level as your verstappen. But if you don’t want to do that, Verstappen is the best choice for s9, but you may get some difficult matchups as most real players are around a similar general team score of 1210-1250 at this point in the season

Yeah that’s probably what it is. Every time there’s a Driver Stat series, there’s always one Car Stat where there’s more than 1 or even 2 so makes it easier to set your car whereas a Car-Focused Setup series has one stat of each Driver so easier to focus on a Driver based Series when you reach one

Perfect example is S5. 1 Speed, rest is Power Unit. Power Unit is the focussed and most preferable stat. Compared to for example S10 currently, the focussed stat is Cornering and the Driver stat is mixed. Much easier actually when it’s Driver focussed. Anyways, think you get my point 😃 😀 😄

Same goes for races in GP, you should change your setup according to each of the races, don't use the same setup and drivers for all 8 races 🫡

Difficulty in GPs are higher with respect to their max series in duels. GP difficulties are probably like 1 series higher. So challenger feels like series 7 at least, maybe 8, and so on.

GPs are different to Duels due to the 4 difficulty tiers. Duels don't have difficulty brackets so, depending on the tier chosen, Players might find a track more difficult in the GP than what they experience in Duels.

Rightly so as GPs are meant to be challenging and competitive by nature.

I thought every race was relative depending on the input drivers/parts/flags. Upgrade one driver or part and leave the remaining parts as it is and the same race in GP/series will have an entirely different difficulty level. The same goes when your flag count increases and if you play the same race again. The only time it doesn't matter is when your team score is much higher than the AI score.

In an effort to reduce the file size of F1 Clash, we're in the process of moving the storage of some assets from directly on devices to being remote. Devices then pull down the images only as they're needed. As you can see, we've done that with Driver portraits and seeing, at least for the first time, sometimes they don't load. A restart seems to fix this.

I know its just my words, but wanted to say about Pit pass, that as same as consistency is cool, its bad 😄 we should have little dynamic pit pass, not just copy=paste. I would say worst possible reward from pit pass is flag storm. We try to stop players rushing series, boom, we give them flag storm every month. Also, as season goes forward, would be very nice to add more crate reduction timers, instead of coin surges, as we have plenty of them every week in sponsor.

Anyone who claimed before the change would have got the Tire Water Boost, anyone who claimed after will have got the Iron Force Boost. For the opponent to always start in top 10 - that would mean a quali of 162+. Or, 30 of that TS difference is in Quali score. That leaves 10 for track stats.

So, about the new boost contest, I know Impact won, and it was supposed to be added to the game on the September 29th update. The first post about the contest said the winner would 1000 of their boost, and every player would get 10. Has anyone gotten the boosts?

At the start of a series, matches are kind of important cause then you tend to lose but when you are strong enough, you can win most matches

Once you max out an asset and have 1000/100/10 extra cards you can trade once daily for 600/60/6 cards of an asset you have for 1m coins. If you don't do that trade - it doesn't reset until you take one of the 3 options or max out one of the assets on the list
