I feel like the point MK was making is not that doing 9 race sprint for 400 points was better, more that the rewards are not equivalent for the time and number of races needed.

If it used to take 9/10 races to get 20 epics, then 4/5 races should therefore be 10 for half the races, half the rewards.

But that's not what we get, so the reward to time/effort ratio is worse than before

Use more Power Unit for your car setup. Make sure to use Fast Engine Mode as often as you can in races, that means conserving engine when needed. If you cross the finish line with more than 0% of Power Unit left, that means you didn't maximise its usage.

Not that it will happen, but with 22 drivers now on the grid, and the legends just leave it there and don't have three rarities, have them start all at junior tier, and as you level then up they improve for use on the higher tiers etc if that makes sense.
Keep them all with their speciality stats but then at least they are all useful in champs at the season end assuming you've upgraded them etc.
Having another 6 drivers (2x3rarities) next year is going to be too much personally, we've seen that already adding COL
