I do have a question Sam... why is it that bots (player bots) when it is a not a real player. The bots seem to get an invisible stat boost. It feels like they are on slight steroids (even when they are less powerful than my team). Without a boost I would not stand a chance at winning my races.

Their tyres last longer than they should for instance and in some cases their race start and defending seems a bit weird.

Bots push 1 full lap with DRS. You would do the same as well. So, ideally that should end unless bots go conserve mode (but they usually don't)

@opal carbon there is an issue with the pits, when the rival double stacks, my car cant leave the pit and instance loss like 5 places in the pit, it is stuck. The rival second car blocks the way of my car, I swear it is true cuz I literally losses by a point as a result of it!! Fix the physics for pitting, the pits lane is too narrow and each pit box of the team are too close to each other. And sometimes my car lagged in the pit for some unknown reason. My bortoleto came in first, then yuki comes in, guess what, yuki left the pit lane first?! How is it possible?

Issue is - not that many are in your TS range in s12. You are on the low side even for s11.

You all seem to be winning a fair few of those despite the disadvantage. But consider the other alternative - they manage to find you closer opponents (let’s say bots). Once people figure this out - they would start intentionally lowering their TS as they have done in the past. Lower and lower as only wins count for 5 of the days of the week. And we would be back to the matched with a good bad driver strategy or stock parts.

This is why pacing your progress is extremely important and crucial.

I’ve said it before also - progress curve is really punishing - not only in series but for assets too.

For series - you fly though the first few and end up in a series you aren’t prepared for. 99.99999% of new players will fall in that trap and will then struggle.

Make a button to confirm progressing to a new series or make these series longer so you actually have time to gear up properly. It will help.

Same with assets - first levels are a breeze. Then you are stuck for a long long long time. We have last levels of each rarity longer than all previous COMBINED. That doesn’t feel right at all

Adding double flag power ups is one of the most annoying power ups for this reason, it's a waste having this in the pit pass over let's say a coin boost, which would help us with upgrades to prepare for higher series, but also all it does is push people up even quicker. Depends on the specific race. Some will remain open for Players to race in as many times as they like to complete the objectives. You can currently continue to race after the objectives have been completed but no further rewards will be earned.

And I think it has potential, it could almost be a sort of story mode, or similar to other games such as EA F1 and F1 manager where you get to attempt to change the result of a famous race from history etc.

Hmm just using Max in an Imola race feels like the challenges we were hoping for in weekly objectives. I thought it was gonna be more scenario based, e.g., win the race, starts at lap 6/9 with 50% hard tyres... or like... win with scenario beginning under safety car with 2 laps to go with 20% tyres and 10% PU or something like that.

To be fair, it is a scenario though, it's based on Max's wins at imola and in his sim racing.

To say at this point it's disappointing is premature, and given such a small group of us have been given access, imagine the outrage from the rest of the player base if we had access to a real scenario, yes let's say final lap at AD21, and got to enjoy that scenario and no one else did??

It's been clear it's a test, it's nowhere near the finished article, I've noticed a few things that I've fed back to Sam that will be improved before full launch.

Let's be patient, we've asked for new features, and complained in the past when new features were buggy, so let's see where this goes 👍🏻

I'm not sure it's the worst.

Rewards have potential to be better than duels.

It's single player which a lot of people have asked for this type of option.

The races load super quick and end immediately after you cross the line, which again is good, and if this is something that can be emulated in duels then good.

It's sort of a story mode that I've seen be asked for.

I don't know what other new game features people would want in a mobile game that at its core is meant to be a multiplayer strategy game

What’s the logic behind? I use high quali setup in s10, I get Austria, I change to high speed and cornering but low quali, I get Monaco. 😔

I can certainly overcome with a low quali setup in Monaco, but qualifying definitely plays a big role in Monaco

Right now I’m in a 2-3 series, and I don’t really know much about strategy in the game. I’m not sure when to pick each tire at the start of the races depending on the number of laps, I’m also kinda clueless about pit stops, and I don’t really know when to use the boost either.
