The update isn't bad in terms of giving more variations to tasks and adding surprise boxes to event duels. I haven't received it yet, but considering they'll take up box slots, let's hope they're quick-openers. This will be better if those boxes come with assets to be more competitive as the event progresses. If there are more assets, meaning more general boxes, I don't see much point.

If the boxes bring assets to have better TS in the event, it would be a very good decision.

Should also point out - from prior experience when it was the previous set in end-May, Series 11's Monza is prob 100% wet - a good way to win is to do the undercut strategy - the AI cars tend to pit in lap 4 and 8, by pitting lap 3 and 6 (or 7) you have a chance in executing the undercut. You might want to plan your events in advance. Not everyone has time to do everything, and some events are simply not worth it. It's Hutch's policy not to publish events for 4-5 weeks in advance. It used to be that way. Now, they don't come a day earlier than the end of the month. That's unfair.
