Got a question for the insiders and gifted: how does this guy do this?
He is gonna win this week, jas won 2 times challenger and last week 2nd contender. What do I need to change next year? This does not seem to be a great spender since hé is in S9, based on his highest seasonal flags.

Based on my opening round I could have scored like 15 points extra, but that’s the game, a bit of luck with RNG, you win some you lose some. But 3 GP wins is no luck. Anyone got any idea what might help me next season to actually win a GP?

What is a good strategy then? Jump to S9 as fast as you can when the season starts and then grind that like your life depends on it? I took in slow (read it in hear that it is a good approach) and only got to S9 like a month and a half ago or so. So my parts could use some work

Hypocritical people here. If you, as a paying customer, say that matchmaking hasn't changed at all in three years, you're not taking your customers seriously. Okay mostly FTP then with a dip into pit pass. If you are struggling to win - I would suggest join a club that can guide you. Matchmaking is fine as long as you know what you can do to win with appropriate drivers and track stats.

People complain about MM after moving up the series too fast without proper upgrades. People tend to complain about MM using wrong drivers and car that does not favour the track as well.

Half the time big TS differences are because of the opponent not maximising their car set up for the track stats

Looking at your races today in Series 7 in which you've lost the race; it looks like your Rivals have setups that work better for the Track Stats which is where they're receiving the benefit. It's not regarding the Team Score.

Sam, I think I will submit a video on Shanghai after DRS use on long straights. Before pit entry when I am not entering pits, my drivers slam the brakes to let AI go when they overtook them and are clear of them. Unnecessary braking there makes no sense at all

Team Score isn't a good judgement on how powerful a rival is based on Track Stats. A strong setup towards Track Stats can overcome higher Team Score opponents.

if the game were to run on purely stat comparison , the everyone with higher numbers will win .. always which is bad. designing your car for TRack stats and drivers for driver stat ensures you have done all you can properly going into race... how you play it, is another matter... you can have absolute beast of a car and drivers but play badly, not smart with strategies etc, you will lose

Drivers have never been featured in their "home" race in F1 Clash for a variety of reasons. It would result in very strong drivers being featured early in the season which creates an imbalance across the remainder of the season.

Yeah I think I've noticed this. Have you had it where your drivers slingshot round the bend at the end of the straight and go very wide on exit? (A bit like the old Hex at Monza move from a couple of seasons back).

Yeah it's weird. This happens in Abu Dhabi too at the mid chicane after the first long straight. Use DRS to overtake 1, go wonky at chicane and lose 3 places 🥲

DRS is glitch for opponents. I have seen people with L6 Rare Wing get DRS exactly after 1 lap in Spain at the same point. But me I can't recharge fully with a L7 rare wing lol

I think the recharge is based on lap time so a driver on a hard tyre will usually get it at the same point but a driver on a soft tyre might not

Every time an advert for a shooting game called Evony plays, it force restarts the app, but not until it's made you sit through the whole thing, then press the arrows - which for every other advert, brings up a Google Play mini pop-up which you press the X on, then end the advert and claim the reward - the mini pop-up loads, but as you go to press X, you can already see the game has force restarted in the background.
It doesn't happen with any other advert.
It's happened twice in a row today.
I wouldn't mind normally, as I just wouldn't watch the ads, but the objectives require you to watch ads.

The bigger question is why this loadout for Series 7 which is Tyre Management which is your lowest stat.

A better Tyre Management stat would allow you to beat such rivals.

You're on the bottom end of the recommended Team Score for Series 10 so is highly likely you'll be matched with stronger opponents. Still within the expected range of matchmaking.

So what really defines "similar performance level"? The game guides state groups are based on this in previous GPs. Is it tiered? Medals, Rep from GP and then region?

You know for a fact that all your grouping systems are defined by an expiry date based on players usage or abuse right? Flags 2 seasons, scores before that 3 seasons. Performance based 2 seasons going strong but players finding loopholes.

It's based on the final position in the Final Round of each GP, weighted by difficulty tier
