While there are pieces of work being done to improve the overall experience; something like revamping the drop rates to limit what level of rewards you receive is more likely to occur near season change due to the significant shift in economy and progression it would cause.

This doesn't give them a competitive spirit. Are they going to fix this at some point? They're losing the thrill of competing against real players.

Bots are not currently as intelligent as real players. Something for us to improve on, though does give a nice break for Players who are having a difficult time winning against real Players.

Yes, but the bots are already going beyond the "playable" range. They make 3 stops or 2 stops with H when the track warrants 3S, as recommended by the game itself. In higher series of 10 to 12 mainly, club colleagues have reported to me situations where the bot you beat on a certain track with the appropriate configuration, you race against it again on that track and lose, but the bot is still bad or exhibits strange behavior. Hutch clearly slows down your two cars.

That is to say, it's one thing to lose due to the competition itself, or that from one race to the next there may be a criterion of "giving a certain reality" that a car varies its level, but what happens here is that both cars are punctured. Almost like when you play against the TS that avoids the sandbags.

More that it's a common misconception that it is only Standard crates being received because when the Crate Slots are all full, during the race rewards screen it will display a Standard Crate in the animation. If a Crate Slot was empty, this may be different.

Sam's point, beyond my assumption, whether it's wrong or not, is that bots configured this way even blur how you win. At any given time, a bot will make 5 or 6 saves, and I don't think it's constructive for enjoying the game.

You’re not wrong. There are many variables. Track stats, driver stats, race start is a good one, Team Score… all of these factor into your overall performance. Then add the RNG factor and you get a lot of variability from rocket ship to school bus.

The hutch answer is - overtaking is a complex situation and involves many different factors
Regular answer - there are only so many “paths” the cars are taking - and sometimes these are not enough to guarantee an overtake.
Someone used a good analogy - the driving lines are like railway tracks. Two cars can’t overtake when they are using one and the same for any reason

It shows we need to tweak that logic to perform a little better and take further situations into account.

I’ve played all 7 seasons, most quite extensively. I’ve played with all the changes, good and bad. I know how the game used to be.
I agree that the range from high to low can be quite large… too large in my opinion at the extreme end of it. However, if the range is too small, then nearly all outcomes will be the same, which becomes a bit boring.
For example, the devs could make duels a bit more “fun” while leaving GP difficulty as is. That’s just my personal opinion and may or may not be the best idea for the game. People who have only played a couple of seasons won’t know any different.
The challenge for the devs is with so many variables, finding the “perfect” balance isn’t easy for the very wide range of players we have today.

Jeff, I agree that it shouldn't be repetitive or lead us to boredom with the same results. What I'm focusing on is that the inconsistency is too pronounced, and that the bots are using things that are unsimilar. 4 stops, 3 stops, using dry tires in the rain. So far, what I've seen this season is that the bots leave a lot to be desired, especially in events, where you're just you run alone. I don't know, it's striking that they're so bad after a season that's improved in several aspects. They need to be corrected, as well as the level of inconsistency of your own team in duels. nothing wrong on the game side. it's because gp event ai's are harder than duels ai's and ur drivers' levels and stats are not high enough for contender

Contender GP AI are stronger than S9 AI in duels. So, you will qualify backwards if you have not progressed well enough on your assets upto S9.

Most likely S8/S9 drivers. Parts is a different story based on track. But L6 epics or L8 rares should help.

The only S8 driver that need in contender is bortoleto, unless there's a S8 boosted driver
