What's the deal with Rain?
Sometimes it let's you go the whole race on wets, even when it stops (I just lost a race because of this as I changed to dry tyres).
Sometimes it wants you to be on dry tyres as it drops to 50% wetness (this didn't work this time)
Sometimes as soon as it stops you need to change.

Normally the crossover is around 20-30%, 50% is too high for dry tyres.

If it just started raining - you’d be better off going wet asap even if that means an extra stop. Ofc not for a long lap but if you have 2+ laps with 20%+ rain - swap as soon as possible

Depends on the track and what you want to do strategically. Norris ( tyres ) and Alonso ( race start ) are good substitutes for Max on certain tracks , having a bit lower defense but not -16.
