It even has a speed meter which, like I can’t think of a single racing game I have ever seen that has a speed meter and isn’t trying to be a simulation game. Imagine Mario kart but it says you’re going 50 kph, like it could say everyone is going 2kph for all that they should care if it truly “not a simulation game” and none of that talks about the marketing

I’m not sure I understand what you are saying here. I agree that it’s not a simulation game, but, I would never say “no where does it say that it’s a simulation game” I would say, it’s a mobile game that is trying to look like a simulation game. So, for example if someone suggested making DRS accurate to real life, I would not say that “no where does it say it’s a simulation game” I would say, that is too complicated for them to add to a mobile game. Overall, I think it’s a reasonable thought for someone to have that it might be a simulation game. Also, since you asked me a question, let me ask one back, can you tell me a non-simulation racing game that has a speedometer?

All I’m saying overall is that Hutch tries really hard to make people think that it’s a simulation game until you actually play it. Because they know that some section of people will end up playing it no matter that fact and you seem to think that people should just understand that it’s not a simulation game

I don’t get the point honestly. The game is - no matter how we sugar coat it - a glorified card collection game with pretty animation for the races. Neither we are in reality in “control”, nor would we be able to use any of the suggested features (“only allow drs when we are less than 1 sec from the car in front” - come on, many guys don’t even know how to find how far behind we are to that car in front) fully. Sure - the game’s theme is f1 and everything is centered around the idea that you are “managing” a team. But is that a simulation ? No and not by a long shot.

F1 clash was here before F1 manager by frontier and it will stay around for longer. They can’t be compared in any way and if someone plays clash for a few minutes that confusion would be gone

I'm aware there a drop rates and the such, but it's ridiculous getting s4 epics. From s12 crates. I can accept that commons have to be in s10-12 like wise for rares, but epics really need to be series specific.

I know this sounds like I'm winging but, I'm sure I'm not the only one that thinks this way. I've been in s12 for 2 weeks, and still not unlocked Lando, or Alonso. I've got every other epic from s12, but there levels at most are lv2 Russell is one card from lv3.

Personally, I think rewards should be limited to a certain range of Series to what the Player is in. For example a Player racing in S12 would get S8-S12 or something along these lines.

There are some difficulties with balance and things like Season Score which are created around such an idea, just as 2 examples, though which would need to be worked out.

(that don't have legendary drivers in them) But again as you said, some kind of balancing would be needed to be worked out.
