And anyways, both had lower qualy... Starting lower is a bit of lottery ... You might have a better RS , but then you ram into car in front and get stuck and meanwhile other driver gets and entire racing line open and make up lots of places

I think the trend where as soon as race starts , ai tries to cover off by racing line by moving to other side is the problematic one.. everyone ai does that and then results in congestion

And sometimes , if RS is relatively low.. cars just stall and that's a other frustrating part

As RS and TM are the only controlling factors on your side post qualifying, decide what's best and plan your strategy ..

All depends on the average strength of the player base within that series and the series itself. A PU series is less likely to work because they’re far easier.

I recently went into S10 to drop some flags and messed around with a setup to do some testing. I was shocked to see how badly all my rivals Qualified and the setups they were choosing.

Here’s a handful. Every rival was qualifying at the back so good/bad has the opportunity to work there if you can set it up. Average rival TS was around 1250

sigh. It was my first Contender level GP event after ages in Challenger level, would have had a good shot at top 10 for finals (was 6th in my opening round and I wasn't using my strongest boosts). I'll just wait for now, I know their customer support is open for another hour, so I'll just wait that out before I start.

It could alternatively be a bug? I had pressed the DRS button, and it said it launched but the speedometer didn't change, so I wasn't sure if it was a disconnect or if it was a glitch that froze the game which led to the crash

My worst series was the transition from Series 9 to Series 10. I should have stayed longer in S9 to upgrade the drivers to be competitive enough for S10.

Yup, this is a common sign of connection issues, especially latency. The server continues to run while the client on the device lags on updating. The client then tries to catch up with the updated position of the safety car and other elements

yeah its only Mexico. I can try to alternate tyres e.g. MED for him to test if it works, but I run him mostly on softs for Mexico. Never get that popup. I monitored his tyres too. at the end of stint 1, hes at 20% so you would expect it to notify me

What does "Connection Latency" mean?
The reason I say there was no issue here is that there's a box on the wall that tells/shows when there's an issue.
How do you know the connection issue is here rather than there? - is it worded differently?

As for yesterday, I don't recall having any issues - apart from when watching the free boost adverts - there's one called Evony Return (or something like that) and it automatically opens the play store while it plays, then the app force restarts.

Someone can be connected, in which their router or other hardware will show as connected, but they may have slow download speed, upload speed, high latency or even packet loss. All of these can impact different apps or services differently depending on what they rely on.

Latency is the biggest impact for F1 Clash as it relies on this to keep 2 players in sync with each other. Too much latency (or delay) and races will disconnect.

Not every 'Connection.Issue' log on a device means there has been a disconnect but is simply a warning that the connection is not as stable as it the app would like it to be.
