@opal carbon or other devs. I just had a race at Zandvoort where me and my rival overtook other drivers during safetycar. We had wet tires, they had slicks and it was raining, track was 100% wet, so they were driving reaaaaaaally slow. At first I thought we only overtook the back of the race, number 21-24, but then i noticed his car went from p6 to p5 and just after that I went from p4 to p3. I don’t claim to be an expert, but I really think Toto would have said “this is so not right”…

It’s not top tier in anyway but does the job for a throw away duels. it won’t be good unless it gets a complete rework so might as well use it somewhere. The +15 Defending is nice on those tracks and the +10 Tyre is always a nice bonus. You won’t notice the +25 pit time though 😂

I use what ever boosts I’ve got loads of that aren’t good for GPs.

Eggception is basically useless this season as we don’t have a DEF+PU track. Either use it, or keep it for next season.

Not all races are similar for your drivers and car. Depending on opponent your Q and performance can vary in the same track with same set up. I have been playing Austria for a while now in S10... it varies everyday

Maximise your track stat as much as you can... a +5 on your opponent vs a +25 on your opponent would have made a massive difference. Drivers are more powerful. So, empower them a little more.

A couple reasons:

1. Wet Weather ability is only relevant during wet races. This means any other condition it is completely redundant.
2. Too many stats creates too much complexity for the majority of players. There's a balance between how many stats makes for a flexible and strategic experience before it becomes too much number crunching.

As others have mentioned; The simple act of receiving rewards for races is an easy avenue for botting, which is part of the reason Race Crates were originally removed.

Normal Crates, Pit Pass Trophies, Sprint Races and Club Tournaments (when they return) should provide those aspirations for winning races.

Are you using your DRS effectively? Using it going into big straights?

Do you use boosts? If so you want to focus on race start stat.

All in all, S5 sucks. Race start is the most annoying stat as it can be random whether your car glues itself to the one in front or not. Just keep pushing really is the only advice as you've got the right set up

Normally crates are locked to the series when you reach the points required to unlock that level. If say you are at 30 and rest are locked and you move to next series. The crates change. The drop rates on them are unfortunately a visual glitch and shows that a S9 crate can have S11 assets if you made a jump from 9-11 for example.

Sprints is an event than runs for 48 hrs after a weekend GP ends, on monday and tuesday. Its basically just racing duels in your highest unlocked series to accumulate a certain amount of points to get a reward crate.

For example in Series 8, you race duels to accumulate 160 points as fast as you can. If you can do well, you can achieve that in 4 races within 30 mins.

To put into perspective, the top prize for duels is 5 epics. So if you compare getting 5 epics every 30 mins to waiting for an 8 hour gold crate to open to give you maybe 1-4 epics, sprints is a pretty investment of your time.

There are two ingame timers in that screen - first one shows how long you have left to race (ends an hour and 10 minutes before next round), and after that time it goes to “calculating results”. It’s also in the ingame help too. And hasn’t changed for years
