Yeah that is the thing the balance is weird at this stage... I can win but I have to boost every race. Without boost I would not stand a chance of 99% wins it would be like 50%

Yeah I'm pretty sure rival bots are harder this season. I can sense that they are boosted from their actual stats.

My only tip for DRS is to be a bit patient with deploying it. It's better to use it at the best spot for every lap, rather than using it for the first straight you see when its available, which will force you to keep using thek at a bad spot every lap.

i.e., Consistent DRS deployment at best spots > Frequency of DRS deployment

Well tbf I didn't find much use of DRS either after S4, only started using it again in S9.

I find it less effective when you start nearer the front and clean air for most of the race. When you start in the mid or at the back it gets you through the traffic so fast.

It's definitely worth finding a series that you can comfortably win in and staying there than trying to move up too early. The only issue with this is the boring nature of racing the same tracks over and over again. It's a tough balance.

Game progression needs a revisit - both series and asset level ups.

First few series are super fast and you can get to s5-6 in a matter of 50-ish races. Then slows down considerably. By the time you reach these - you will not even have enough assets to upgrade and enjoy it and it will be simply a frustration game.

Same with asset levels - levels 1-4 (sometimes even 5) - you can get in a single crate. And then it slows down a lot. Last level alone is more than double the previous levels combined. No sense of continuous progress at all this way

Hi all 😁 New here - Series 7 an absolute ⚽ ache. Looking for advice around TS. Seems there's 2 camps of thought.

1. Keep Ts low for better match ups (spend very few coins until S8/9)
   2 upgrade and max out load outs ASAP .

The first seems paradoxical, as when ts is low when playing against Humans 90% are on the upper side of the 10% matchup ratio, with higher level kit &/or drivers, meaning race/coin loss pretty much a given no matter tyre strategy, PU or boost usage This in turn then suggests that having a Higher TS within a series (say 900 plus where max is 1000 in S7) is the way to go as there'll be fewer higher and matchups Will generally be against lower TS. This being evidenced by me dropping into S6 with an 847 load out and winning easily 🤷

Sry about the lengthy Post & suspect you longer term players have heard this before, so I'm hoping I can get some clarity

You would be better off NOT rushing if you aren't sure you can compete in the higher series. Build your car a bit, when you get to the point you are completely dominating the races - move up. BUT be careful. Take a look at next 1-3 series. Upgrade what you will only be using. Don't upgrade for example a cornering part or a race start driver if neither of these is the common stat in the next 1-3 series. Build your coin supplies. Build up your car. It's a marathon
