Series 8 is speed iirc. So your car needs the most speed it can have. Drivers just use the best you have, its not a driver based series

I imagine a good TM driver you used in S7 will be helpful in S8 too, like Ocon, Lawson, Hulk etc... Then use someone that compliments them, so whatever driver 1 is weak in, driver 2 needs to be strong at

S8 doesn’t require Race Start as a track stats so that helps your driver decision. With 2 defending tracks you want to prioritise that on one driver.

Maximise speed for your car. Driver wise 2 of the 4 tracks are defending. 1 is tyre management and the other is overtaking. So use a driver that’s strong in defending, and not terrible at overtaking and tyre management

People voluntarily making the game hard for themselves is not my concern

460 is the Hutch series bot, which is designed to prevent players from entering series with too little team score. The goal is to stay just above the threshold of triggering that bot

As you've seen the other guys discuss, matching your setup to track stats is important.

Okay so S5 is all Race Start tracks. If you use Alonso and Leclerc you'll do well because they have the highest Race Start stats.

Once you get to S6 you have 2 overtaking tracks, so hamiltion will be good.

When you get to S7 norris will be good because of high tyre management.

When you get to S8 verstappen will be good because they have 2 defending tracks.

You see the pattern?
