1st race in Monaco and... Bearman, who usually gets off to an excellent start (40) and overtakes (45), stagnated at the back the whole race, I overtook Hadjar just as I came out of the tunnel, how is it possible for drivers to behave so strangely... The other day in Monaco, I came in first from the same position... This game is driving me crazy...

Next time in Monaco I'm going to use the same configuration as him and I'm 100% sure I won't win like him...

Monaco is a defense track. Bearman isn’t particularly awesome defense driver

Track stats does work as you can see from the best lap times that you are faster than your rival. It's just your quali is much worse compared to his so you'd have to do more work in a track that's known to suck if you start from the back.

If sacrificing track stats for quali works for some tracks as you suggest, then maybe you should try the same strategy and see how it works.

From my experience here in Jeddah you can also try pitting at lap 2 for one of your drivers, do 2-3-3 for undercut because the pit stop there is very narrow and congestion while pitting can lose you a lot of time.

Not necessary to get to the next round, but you'd have one less race for your tiebreakers. Also be careful of your position, you might be under the cutoff point because someone played at the last hour.

But then also when I start him on softs he can’t overtake anyone and someone who qualifies P16 just hops 10 places on turn 1…
Piastri is also better off the line than Bearmann in stats but then in the race he’s really bad…

These inconsistencies should be easy to fix, it’s literally just numbers and probabilities…

Example - you have 100 Speed, 20 cornering, 20 power unit. Your opponent has 50 cornering, 100 power unit, 50 speed.

Opponent has 50 TS advantage there, but you are faster in race

So you make your PU stat as high as possible. Perfect

However, all driver track stats are different. If you happen to use 2 drivers with awful TM, and you get a TM track, that high PU stat isnt going to help you. Especially if your rival IS using 2 good TM drivers

I usually set myself up well for 3/4 tracks, and just lose most of my races on the 4th track. That way I'm guarenteed a good shot at winning on 75% of the races I do

I'd rather be able to score 30 points on 3 tracks, and 15 on the 4th track. Compared to scoring 25 points on ALL tracks

Quali is low, so will start at the back. But will climb alot of places

Spa is pain, because after turn 1 everyone slows down so you lose alot of time. But even there I can generally do well on a 1 stop

I've tried this vs a full blown quali setup but I prefer this

It's always the last race that Hutch will make you feeling extra nervous

It will get reduced as well, the same as if it was halved from the start.

Tip: Your crate timer will still be halved even when the timer ends. Say you have an 8-hour time reduction, and for example you start unlocking a 12hr platinum just before that 8-hour ends, effectively you have used 14 hours of crate timer reduction. So i usually start unlocking my biggest ones at the very end.

Idk about yall, but I finished all my objectives and bought everything the store had and I still have points left over, I guess we'll find out when they reset.

That said, personally I think the weekly objective of grand prix events was not a good one - didn't like that there's the inadvertent incentive to throw the qualifying rounds to hit the race count of 20. Neither did I like making the grand slam final round a pre-requisite for so many points (4k points felt too much - that's 3 crates in my shop). The rest of the objectives were fair and it's finally a nice addition for ppl that are f2p

Sharing challenger gp with people nearly 7k ahead on series progress is just crazy.
It’s obviously he’s going to get better scores he’s probably 3/4 series ahead.
Even if I did a perfect score I wouldn’t stand a chance against his setup on fast lap.
Yes you can only use series 1-6 but in a higher series it’s easier to upgrade.

You need one driver and one car stat for each track. Driver stats are weighted heavier than car stats, so it’s harder to compensate with your car.

If you’re on a Race start + cornering track, that’s what you want to focus on. Those stats will make you faster.
