Yes. Your team score right now is 355. If you matchup someone with 355 team score who focused on cornering then you will lose by a lot. If you go down to 300 TS with cornering focused parts you will face other people with 300 TS who might not be running a cornering setup and you will have a huge advantage

Higher TS =/= better chance to beat your rival

It helps against the other cars in the race but not helpful for beating rival unless you're building the right car for that circuit

Ok listen. The 4 numbers on the bottom of your set up screen. You want to use parts you have to get cornering number as high as you can. It’s ok if other numbers go higher. Not the individual part, the overall cornering number

It’s not a good idea buying coins with bucks. I know it’s hard at the beginning. Try to upgrade only what you really need, sometimes a low level part is better for MM. You will have tons of coins if you play properly

So really in duels there is absolutely no point in upgrading anything because it does is make your rivals more experienced, as well as seeing more boosting players

Obviously does not apply to GPs where you need high level assets, but in duels you can keep you team score low by using stock parts and only focusing on the car stats that matter

If a certain car component does not have a good part that matches the track stat, just use the stock part. No point in increasing your team score if it doesnt align with track stats

Because there’s a big difference. What I’m telling you is if you need coins, you will get them mostly from duels, and for duels you just need to win your opponent. So, use your coins for parts that give you more track stats and Q, focus on that, and don’t buy coins.
But of course, play as you will, your game your rules

If it has majority of power unit I wouldnt use DRS because its such a TS increase while not boosting track stats
