After a certain point in the season I agree it should be that way, once everyone has had some time to build some kind of setup. But for start of season I think it's a bit much to have almost all pvp unless they actually end up close in ts then it's fair matchup. But hutch doesn't like to give fair matchups. Most of my pvp are ppl almost 100+ts to me with s7-9 parts while I'm sitting on a challenger setup. Gimme all pvp within 50ts and I wouldn't care if it was every race. Least there'd b a chance to win. Any higher and it's no longer a fair battle. Just wasting time. Cause those ppl with that high ts still use premium boosts like they're gonna lose. Starting out I’d say take your time, you likely won’t get P1 all the time.
In duels, you just have to beat the rivals score to win. If you win enough, you will gain more assets and coins to upgrade. Then you will have a better chance of being competitive against the AI and your rival.
P1 and P2 is only really the big aim for GP races for most points

So you can use that as a guide if you want. But really, all you have to do is beat your rival. There is no pressure to perform well vs AI (except for sprints)

There are paying players who dont even reach Series 12 at the end of a season, and there are non-paying players that reach Series 12 quite early. So it comes down to how you play the game ultimately..

It’s random. The series screen only shows possible tracks. You might get a series of the same track but that comes down to luck

Series are either driver or car based and they normally alternate. driver ones are stronger so as long as you follow them it’s fine. Focus on speed and cornering in there + overtaking so you will be absolutely fine

Here's a thought... I dropped drs part as experiment on series 6 and still able to win most times .. it drops TS massively and started to get favourable matches .. anyone else tried ?

And if you manage PU effectively, drs is not a massive benifit

It's track specific, which means it can be series specific if enough tracks share those characteristics. For example, Singapore is in series 6 and on the two long straights you only get a very small benefit from DRS so not having it won't hurt you much.

It depends on the seires/tracks. on some tracks DRS is practically useless so the TS increase isn’t good.

GPs will be very interesting. I wouldn’t use it at a place like Monaco or Singapore.

I’m in S5 and only find Imola to be really good for DRS. Melbourne is meh.

Oh and Mexico is great. But I’ve raced that like 5 times out of like 130 races 😂
