Track stats are extremely important to follow, particularly for drivers. Everything else for that series that isn't useful increases your TS unnecessarily.

Series 4 has 4 tracks - Overtaking on drivers is common, so use your best overtaking drivers, even if you lose out on other stats (defending, etc)
Out of the 4 tracks you have 1 with power unit, 2 with speed, 1 with cornering. Focusing on speed (primarily) and cornering or power unit - whatever you can get higher - will get you an advantage on 3 out of the 4 tracks. Use as few pitstops as possible there and you will be fine

thats exactly what i do, but i need boosts to win or maybe get close. and my opponent just overtakes the whole field in the first lap and i cant overtake them back. i use the speed the whole first lap, and still they just go way faster

Try to balance out your speed, cornering, and qualifying. Change gearbox to Beat, suspension to Curver 2.5, and your front wing with glide or dash, driver setup is good. And just focus on strategy, only use DRS on straights and boost through corners.

Ok, then this is something worth paying attention to. It is very hard to win races if your rival is boosting and you are not, even if you do everything right

Do not blindly buy hex boosts, always look at the track stats and use boosts that fit with both track stats if possible

So last year the first 5 gps were kind of random and then after that we were meant to be put into groups based on the results of your last 5 gps. Some players moved down gp ranks to lower there results to try and get better groups but you would have to have 4 or 5 gps of nothing to get a better group to try and get a P1 in Champs

I know the topic of pit pass cost was talked a lot, but as someone playing since 2021, I had to give my 2 cents - last couple of seasons I was a pit pass regular. For me, the balance was good - I thought I received a good value for the amount of money and time i was willing to invest.
This season, while I understand the potential to get more from it, in order to fully reach that potential I need to invest more money (which I don't want), and more time (which I don't have).
For the reasons above I decided not to get the pit pass for now, and to be honest after getting used to crate queueing for so long, I find it annoying to have to manually open crates and I'm less motivated to play.
The previous pit pass was fine IMO - the fact that a Mercedes has a better ROI than a Subaru, doesn't mean everyone can, or should, get a Mercedes (just an example to make a point - don't crucify me).
If enough people feel the same, I hope Hutch takes this into account and either reduce the price or offer a mid-tier pit pass, with similar price to previous seasons.

Not a glitch, you had enough trophies to unlock the legend crate when you were still in the lower series. Whenever you get enough trophies for that level of pit pass crate it’s locked into the series you were in. Was that way last season too
