It’s not a simulation though. While I get what you are saying - people have to manage : tyres, ERS, DRS actively in race + track stats and so on apart from that. Players in general have issues with simple mechanics - complicating it further will not go well

If you want to say great race to them, say it with the in game message that literally says “great race” or DM them, rather than say great race only when you win and announce to everyone that you beat the person.

Or when you pit every lap to embarrass the opponent and then post it here to further embarrass them.
