Still haven't been confirmed by Hutch if they're keeping this same kind of 3 different driver rarities card collection progress system. But yes, it can make sense.
Perhaps there's an total overhaul regards that, just judging from that presentation video (?) so, maybe we'll get a surprise. I personally will be delighted with that kind of change, but one never really knows.

This year's ending to the season has been the worst of all the seasons I have played.
I have grinded like mad to bring my S12 epic parts and drivers to L7/L8 so that I can enjoy this last month of racing with them. But thanks to this legendary drivers criteria, I haven't at all enjoyed playing during this period at all.
I had shifted to contenders but even there now you have made those legendary drivers mandatory.
This part of the season used to be fun earlier but now I feel even though I have almost maxed out components and drivers, my one hand is tied behind my back.
So either you guys do something to make our gaming experience better or else I'm out! , Deleting this game for good.

Sadly, the CGS has influenced and impacted the “regular” game too much all season. I lost interest in GPs when it became a Legends fest and or a use X for bonus points. It’s taken the simplistic fun away and made it to complicated.

Having to decide between using the best Track Stat asset(s) vs the boosted asset(s) (which can be worse in track stat but better for MM) vs the asset(s) that give you bonus points is too much.

Finding out the right way to go through each player's game goals was not easy (not meaning it should) and going through brute force (cash in) wasn't always an attractive idea if that was what it aimed (which surely was not)...
All in all I really hope sooner or later there is a change in game modes coming between Sprints and Events, so that perhaps boosted assets only gets effective during Fri-Sun outside event races, for e.g., and if we follow current state of the game.

Just to echo others’ thoughts, it’s not a great experience being at the end of the season and not able to use my lvl7 Verstappen and Leclerc in the last GP of the season in Champs without being compromised by the Sponsor tasks. Rubbish way to finish. Given what’s happened this season, I really do have concerns about how Hutch will treat players in the next one.
