This year's game was a total turd, if it's like this again next season I'm done with it the price of everything is just mental, I barely upgraded anything when you're being asked to spend 200million on an upgrade, the developers seem to think they're the sh*t so they can turn the game into a pay to get anywhere game. No thank you, I did pay for small things for fun but not happening next season, if I see the same stupid prices for everything I'm done.

Couldn't get to the high series because the matchmaking was awful you needed to upgrade your drivers and parts to start winning and they want 199million for and upgrade where you win 5 million per race, it felt pointless

Every year I've made it to series 12 this year with the stupid parts prices I didn't get out of series 9.

What's with the game putting you against players with 100 higher team score?

@opal carbon why can't the crates in this game be more like other games with loot crates.

In this example you can see that you are guaranteed the card you select as your "wished" for card. Would be much better for us players when buying crates, especially given the large number of assets in this game, the range we are given of S1-12, as well as the amount of time we have all had it where we are short by 1-2 cards for an upgrade.

A system like this is better than increased drop rates, where you have a higher chance than normal to receive an asset, but still a huge chance you don't get it at all

Having watched F1 since the 80s I'm aware there are plenty of other race examples and rivalries Sam, but I was using that as an example of where a rivalry that we haven't yet had as an event between two of the legends was in two consecutive years controversial and title deciding, yet the team have chosen Hunt and Lauda which we've had before, and whilst I accept the 1976 Suzuka GP decided the title between them, it seems daft to use the rivalry again, when we haven't had Prost senna

But the ending of it is very bad. First - unrealistic requirements for the Grand Spend. Then even taking away normal GP fun from us. I loved the idea of sponsor tasks at the beginning , as it has a potential to make the game more tactical but now it just went to trash being used for Legendary monetization. I believe after the line is crossed some players might say - stop playing/spending. I totally dont believe everyone will spend no matter what. Especially if the season ends soon and everything will reset.

I am in series 3 and bought verstapen series 12 and piastri series 11 because i thought i will go trough the series faster.I was on teamscore 400 and plaed against 400.When i bought it i raised the score on 850 and now playing against people with the samescore.Is it normal?

It does not help if you don't follow the track stats. Higher drivers can help if you can manage against higher TS players.

The game resets every May to new season and all assets (cars plus drivers) reset as well

So, best not to spend and play casually to obtain some benefit from CC accumulation. Then play next season in May

Are heavy spenders this bad at playing the game? They already have better assets, no cap in stats, all premium boosts to use, and now better legendary drivers and on top of this now +6 points per race.

Don't you think this method will be boring even for them? I guess some would love to pay to bully, but I don't think most of them would love to win this way.

It's worth it to have a strong driver or components from the start.
Last May I choose Epic Piastri & used him from series 1 - 10 before my S9 / S10 drivers where any better.
You could also spend on fast lower epics to increase how quickly they are upgraded for gps early on in the season.
Quite useful to have, but for all of our work through a season, 400cc points is pathetic anyway 🙄

Can’t post pictures in this chat, but I matched so many ppl with “Q 1st F” and even “Q 1st Q” medals on champion. I’ve had a p1 this season when I first tried champ tier… won it by something like 10-15 points. But afterwards I can barely make it to FR. While p1 felt nice I didn’t feel like I deserved it really and I’d much rather see my weekly results improve. And I obviously stopped spending after my p1… would have definitely spent quite a few more hundreds if I didn’t get p1 on first try.

Spa is race start and speed. While you have more focus on speed than him, his drivers are basically equal to yours on race start (4 and 1 point difference). He has a much higher quali though and that most likely helped him start way in front of you. You had faster time still and could catch up just not as fast as you wanted.
