Congrats, you have found a civilization on Mars ^^ Can you drop a save file? Save files are located in:
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\LocalLow\PyramidGames\OccupyMars\SaveData
Woooaahhh, that is freaky cool
its only at night and covers the whole night sky lol
Who needs meteor defence rockets when you've got your own laser defence grid!
rofl, it actually looks like lasers cause when they show up at night and i go sleep they all move
i wonder if it has to do with the fact i'm playing on an intel arc gpu, not sure
here a savefile i made , its the samem one but in case you don't want to get it from google
probably yes
anything to be done about it? its not gamebreaking , more a lightshow at night , just hope it doesn't crash the game eventually lol
I will send this to our 3D Graphics magician but I'm not sure we have any Intel Arc at the office to test it
Might be something to think about getting..
they are still so rare that Steam Hardware Survey doesn't even list any Intel Arc GPUs
I wanted to check how many players use it and it's not even shown here, the only intel cards are the standard cpu-integrated ones

ah , no i got the seperate one , acer predator bifrost . i can understand its not worth the dev cost just for something barely anyone uses
i found a fix to the issue , the lights only appear when anisotropic texturing is forced on, when i put it on "per texture" the sky is normal
This may be a Unity compat bug that may have gotten fixed in very recent builds of Unity.
I had the same thing in Empyrion Galactic Survival and some other Unity based games. A recent update of Empyrion mostly however fixed this issue (there's some edge cases of special stars and planets that still have a very light version of this bug) and one of the main things I noticed in that update that was related to the operation of the game rather than game mechanics was that they upped the Unity version.
So that's something @pyramid can have a look at, may be simpler to fix for Arc cards than they thought, or may go away by itself as updates to Unity are integrated in development.
