Didn't they say we'd be getting some sort of automatic extraction at some point? I can only imagine such a system to be similar to water wells (limited by extraction rate). If so that would probably use a substantial amount of energy.

Yes, there will be automated extractors, but still if they produce some amount of other ores as crushers do, we will need a way to convert some amounts of it to other ores and keep it balanced

Fair point. but maybe the amount of extra ores is smaller or, honestly, since it would extract from the underground, maybe it will give us more silicon (hint for devs xD).

Hmm... maybe we could get a new building, a deep pit (not that we could go inside to see the pit's depth) where we could throw unwanted ore. Kind of silly but an incinerator wouldn't really work for ore anyway.

They should put that message up for all saves that can't be loaded, to justify save incompatibility xD
