I'm in free mode in the game, custom difficulty level with madman. I'm descending a pretty high mountain with a downhill slope. I fell down and only my helmet got damaged, but the four-wheeler hasn't gone downhill, it went up in the air floating quite high and cannot be recovered.

I doubt this has a very high priority for the devs. Because it doesn't seem to happen all the time, and can be worked around. Also it's probably not very easy to figure out what's causing this, or how to prevent it in a good way.
There are enough bugs already reported to keep them busy for a long time. So they need to decide what to fix now, and what will have to wait for a while. Bugs that are causing big problems and/or are easier to solve will likely take higher priority then complicated bugs that we can work around. We will need to be patient.

Yes, I agree. That's why I didn't mention any high or medium priority. I just shared a comment about my experience and the screenshot. The solution is easy to implement. I mean, using the saved game before the accident to avoid it. The progress lost is minimal and easy to recover. I make backups, so I can maintain my game saves and progress, and it has helped me avoid many bugs or they haven't appeared at all. But these things don't affect the player significantly, and it's easy to avoid them by reloading the game, which resolves the issue on its own. It only occurs on rare occasions. I have already completed the survival campaign, except for a few technologies that are not yet available in the game. However, I have everything else, and I keep a backup of the game save in another folder. The campaign went quite well, and there were only a few minor bugs that didn't have a significant impact. Yesterday, I started a new free colony game in Madman difficulty, and so far, it's going very well. Regards.
