The error means that the JDK is configured incorrectly
well and how could i fix it
right-click the project, select build path>configure build path
alright one second
done
In the Libraries tab, select JRE System library and click Edit...
done
There, click on Installed JREs
alright
What's shown in the window thatshould appear?
Do you have Java installed on your computer?
yeah
i went onto my cmd and did java --version
it showed the java version i have installed
in this menu, click on Add...
and select the installation directory of your Java installation
yes, Standard VM
no
What's shown when selecting Standard VM and clicking on Next?
Do you get something like that?
yes
If so, click on the Directory... button next to JRE home and select your Java installation directory
alright
okay so here's the problem
its supposed to be in this pc > program files
right?
probably
Alternatively, you could also click the Search... button on the right here, select your program files directory and let Eclipse search through all subdirectories
alright
uh
a bit of a problem
oddly enough, i cant seem to find anything through here
so i just use that
im here
hello?
@stark violet sorry for the ping
uh dan1st
ok, try selecting C:\Program Files\Eclipse Adoptium\jdl-21.0.1.9-hotspot
in Eclipse
alright
Was wasn't in front of my laptop
Can you try selecting that directory with this approach?
ok, click Finish
And in that menu, make sure that JDK is selected
yes
In that menu, select Alternate JRE or Workspace default JRE
What's shown whaen doing that?
the jdk?
yes

im waiting for the project to finish building
thank you so much
