well first of all

it is not for 1.20.4 minecraft version

yes it isn't but I changed some stuff but even the out of the box version doesn't compile

how did you manage to succesfully build when you ported it to 1.20.4

you realise 1.17 and 1.20.4 is very different

I'd say you can't access certain dependecies

and I doubt you truly changed it to 1.20.4 brother

so what you can do is: learn programming or ask someone who could make mod you want for you
