The chances that it has anything to do with debugging are nonexistant.
Decompiling, modifying and recompiling existing classes may work in theory, but nothing is designed to enable you to do that. If you try, you're fighting the technology.
This is advanced subjects. You're saying you're no java developer so the chances that you did anything like what you were trying to do, essentially don't exist. This is no matter of debugging.

I have this on system from the old dev who quitted, but jprofiler isn't on the system anymore.

## JPROFILER ##
#options="-agentpath:/root/jprofiler6/bin/linux-x86/libjprofilerti.so=port=8851,nowait,id=102,config=/root/.jprofiler6/config.xml -Djava.awt.headless=true -Xms128m -Xrs -Xmx1524m -DSTOP.PORT=1081 -DSTOP.KEY=xyz -jar start.jar etc/jetty_8082.xml"

I had some help to clear out the compile errors

#

and I need advanced help...

#

I'm sure something would be seeable having a debugger connected to the running app.

You need an advanced developer to do it for you, or to take the time it takes to be an advanced developer. You don't need advanced help

ripe minnow
#

so be it, are you adv. java dev?

native bramble
#

Probably, but I sure as hell ain't doing squats for you in that domain.

my contact is in holidays unfortunately until mid August and it should move fwd.

#

why not? even paid?

native bramble
#

Because I can be paid higher for the same time having a better time.

its a favour for a good friend and the small business he's working at.

native bramble

Oh that was totally going to change my mind. Too bad it's unproductive to point out that something simply isn't going to happen over a discord chat

I know this is this VERY advanced stuff .... otherwise it would be done already. I did develop java but long long time ago.

#

so do you say, who knows.

#

nothing I wouldn't see ...

#

it ain't simple.

#

thanks for your time @native bramble and your open mind.

ripe minnow
#

even debugging would help see the flow.

#

I don't think you can help anyway.

#

anyone?
