Not exactly java, but keep getting questions on operands, opcodes and labels, tried seeing some stuff on google and concluded that operand is object to be manipulated while opcode is the operation to be performed. I still don't know which they are though, thanks

Are you expected to just guess?

You say you keep getting these questions, yet you don't know how to approach them. How did you end up in that situation? When people ask me about the history of agriculture in Zimbabwe, I just say I don't know

Well, from the info I found online, the opcode would be LDA, operand would be #14, and the label would be L1:

I am checking with past papers, as our notes only cover java. I am asking to see if anyone is sure of this or can confirm it as I don't want to study the wrong thing

#14?

Yes

I don't think #14 is an operand personally.
Mostly because it is not there

Ah didn't notice the extra 1 as i'm looking into other past papers too

#

So would the #14 be the operand?

#4*

Yeah. I'm a bit weirded out about the syntaxes, LDX #4 and MUL 2

Never touched assembly code in my life, but for some reason they always ask to find an opcode/operand and that's it for the whole assembly part

Thank you though
